So I just wanted to share this with newcomers.

I was in Vegas 1st week of September. I stopped by Pallazzo for about 45 minutes and played the Baccarat machines probably put in 300-400. Last night, I received an offer from them for 3 nights comped and $25 slot play or match play.

So if you stop by and play for 1 hour you will get an offer in 2 months.

I was in Vegas the 2nd week in June. I stopped by the Pallazzo (well, I was staying in Venetian) for about 2 hours and played a $0.25 slot machine for that full 2 hours. Probably put in 700-800. I have not received a single offer.

Just an FYI. This is a typical "teaser" offer from V/P. Substantially more play will be required to maintain such offers.

+1 to DaiLun. I played slots for a few hours at the Palazzo back in 2015. I only played with a few hundred and got a 3-night comp at the Venetian which I used in January of 2016.

During the 2016 trip, I made a conscious effort to cover my comp with play, which I did (based on my win/loss statement). I haven't received another comp offer from them since.

Moral of the story? Take it if they're giving it!

Haven't been too happy with Venetian/Palazzo offers
    as of late.
However...since we got a Grazie Gifts offer with comped
nights and some food/beverage/free play, we decided to book it
for Thanksgiving and then not bother with them much in the new year.
Might as well cash in those Grazie Gift points instead of
    letting them disappear.
They also have some really good dining choices for the holidays.

Ok just to clarify my offer was for the Grazie Gifts November event.

Doesn't matter. It's still a "teaser offer". Thanksgiving is a "slow week".

Absolutely!!!! A co-worker of mine thought that she was getting offers from the Wynn based on her play. I politely reminded her that her play wasn't enough to sustain the offers she was getting, that these were "teaser" offers and the Wynn wanted to see what level of player she was. She asked me what she should do, and I told her, "Take the offers, and play what you can. Do not up your play unless you can afford to. Will your offers go down? Yes. (and they did)". She was getting offers far and above what I was getting, but after a few trips they started decreasing until they came back to a "reasonable" level (that is, a level in accordance with her level of play).

So if they send a teaser offer why not be a tease back to them. If your play won't warrant another offer take advantage. Unless the offer specifies you must play to a certain level to validate. It's a two way street.

Did you read read the thread about the new disclaimer In the fine print where offers are provided based on maintaining play? At least, they do at the Wynn. A very High Roller friend of mine was very "taken aback" when he saw that.

Do they spell it out? After reading some comments on minimally playing and then surprisingly receiving an offer, if the word "maintaining" is used then I would assume (incorrectly) I n ended to maintain the minimal play which triggered the offer. Or is that the "Gotcha" in all this?
Seems a poor way to build a new customer base if that is the goal.

I would take the offer and run with it. V/P has gotten very stingy with their offers in the last few years.

That is sort of funny. If you played $300 or so, then your "points" for the gift event have to be really low. Maybe you can get a $10 pen or something - LOL!

Here's the "fine print" on Venetian/Palazzo offers:

Well. I guess that is my point. Thanks for posting the details. If I stop in for 2 hours and play / cycle through 400$ or whatever time and amount and they give me a mailer, am I only responsible for 2 hours a day at 400$ since that is the only history we would have together? This may be why I am a lowrolling downtown guy, too much if/buts/at our discretion etc.
I would hate to owe for 2 nights + resort fee if my historical play was misunderstood. As well as the 1/2 hour checks by the suits "Uh, sir, are you actually a guest at our hotel?"

    I would say:
    • Yes if your only history is 2 hours a day with $400 coin-in then how can they possibly say your historical level of play is anything else?
    • This is boilerplate language that all of the casinos use and I could be wrong but I don't see anything in the pic @DaiLun posted that represents any change in V/Ps language, far as I remember, it's been that way going back 7 or 8 years when I used to stay there every trip.
    • Revocation of an offer can mean any or all of:
      • Making you pay for the current stay (I've only ever seen one instance of somebody saying this happened in 8 or 9 years on Vegas boards)
      • Cancelling any future reservations you have under the same or other offers
      • Refusing to book a new future reservation for you under the same or other offers (seen this a few times)

I only used that as an example, and since the topic of conversation was V/P. I don't stay at Wynn anymore but I understand that their wording is more detailed.
