Methinks it looks a bit cloudy for a pool day. I'll take it! I hate the sun.

    20210721_070428.jpg

A sleepy good morning VMB. All of that walking landed me a vicious Charley Horse in my left calf in the night. Ouch!

Let me do a bit of updating before I go check in for our cabana. Pool opens at 8am at Mandalay Bay. No way will the girls be up and out there by then. LOL.

Pyramid Cafe at Luxor yesterday was a solid choice for breakfast. I keep seeing people suggest it on VMB, so I'm glad we tried it. Good food and decent Vegas prices.

    20210720_124251.jpg
V and I each got the Veggie Sandwich. Very good, although I left some of the super thick bread.

    20210720_124344.jpg
J got the Pyramid Classic Breakfast. There was so much bacon, she shared with us.

    20210720_124405.jpg
S got the Ham and Cheese Omelet.

    20210720_124410.jpg
G got a Burger and Fries...plain and dry.

    20210720_124532.jpg
H and N both got Cheeseburgers and Fries. The order got mixed up thanks to G's plain request, so these burgers came out plain too just with cheese. The girls had to get sauces and fixings separately which was no biggie.

    20210720_124716.jpg
Burger fixings for H and N.

    20210720_124416.jpg
Pyramid Stack for Sa. This pancake platter was huge! I don't see how one person could finish it.

Here are some menu pics of the items we ordered.

We added a $30 tip for a total of $183.26. I paid again for all of us.

I would definitely recommend the Luxor Pyramid Cafe as a good breakfast/lunch spot.

Enjoying all your fun and antics. By "charley horse", I'm assuming you mean a cramp. More electrolytes! Even Gatorade/Powerade will help.

Yep, leg cramps! I grew up calling them Charley Horses. I downed a huge Powerade before bed and lots of water, but apparently need more to counteract all of the drinking and walking. LOL.

To say I look like death warmed over this morning, is being too kind. I am definitely getting that rough around the edges look from this much Vegas. Ha! :p

Headed to check in to the pool and then back to the room to tidy up and get ready, plus try to awaken the girls. I just saw a 2:30am text from S telling me goodnight. They're going to be some cranky teens today!

DANG! I'm impressed, the walk from Circus Circus to Delano is loooong. But hey at least it was at night so it was somewhat cooler... hats off to you. Have a great time at the pool today, loving the report!

Yikes! Given the chance for a full $700 refund since storms are predicted this afternoon and pool might close. We can't back out if we go ahead and take the cabana and it rains.

It's Vegas baby, going for the gamble! Storms be damned.

    20210721_081434.jpg

The least they could do is give a rain discount. LOL.

We're at our Mandalay Bay Beach Bungalow and getting settled in. J and her girls are taking care of stuff in the room before joining.

I booked this back in May and prepaid $700. All that's included is soft drinks and water. Any food and other beverage purchases are extra.

Started the day with two Bloody Marys.

Also got a Watermelon Boat. I knocked the pieces over taking the plastic off.

None of us have gone in the water yet. LOL.

    Back to yesterday....

After breakfast at the Pyramid Cafe, we decided to go ahead and do the Minus5 Ice Bar. We had planned this as a belated Christmas/Birthday gift for our nieces.

Kids are allowed in before 9pm. We bought VIP packages for all of us and an entry fee for J who was not drinking. After this, a second round for the girls, and souvenir photos, it wasn't a cheap experience.

Here are some various photos from inside. Everything is made of ice, including the glasses the cocktails are served in.

The hats we're wearing were part of the experience. We got to choose the one we wanted and keep it at the end. V and I had 2 drinks included, while the kids had 1. We bought them a second round inside.

Total for an Ice Bar experience for the 8 of us was $511.05 including the receipts below and a $10 cash tip to the photographer. Overpriced for sure, but we all had a fun time. H loved it the most! She's asked if we can go again at Christmas.

Note the credit card fee on the receipts. That shit showed up on the Gelato receipt the other night at Mandalay Bay. Not sure what kind of shenanigan is being pulled, but I haven't noticed a sign or been warned before using my card. Deceptive and lame!

It's getting pretty toasty. Going to join some of the girls in the wave pool or the lazy river.

V ordered himself round 3. Another Casamigos and Tequila...same as round 2. Boring.

Yes, but it was maybe 8 people with others already checked in and waiting. I scanned the QR code that says to put you on a wait list. I received a text confirmation and about 10 minutes later a text that our table for 8 was ready. Easy, please.
