    My Trip Report

    Greetings all,

Trip #13 to Vegas coming up for me, and my third trip report on here. There will be lots of food porn, march madness action, poker tournaments, and hopefully my first hand pay!

    Itinerary:

21: MyVegas comped room at Luxor
22-28: mlife pearl offer for $19 a night, and just $40 on the weekend at Luxor. Was a great deal!

    $10 free play from MyVegas
$10 free play from mlife booking
Comp Lunch buffet at Luxor from MyVegas

    Food Stops on my list:

    Carnevino
    PepperMill
    Rao's
    Herringbone
    Bouchon
    Le Thai
    Searsucker

I've been in the casino food management industry for 8 years now and have launched a Facebook page.

Wheels up in 45 minutes via Delta, touching down at 5:23 Vegas time. Apparently there are high winds at Mccarran...not looking forward to the heart attack on landing!

    Cheers all,

Crucial to any flight, Woodford and Coke! Smooth flight overall, delta had no issues with the high gusts at Mccarran. Smooth landing. Off to Luxor. [IMG][IMG]

There's six million people in line at regular check in but shouldn't take too long here at the pearl and above check in!

11th floor in the east tower. Nice view, room is clean, no complaints. Getting unpacked then heading to Carnevino for dinner!

Settled in at Carnevino. Started with a classic Negroni cocktail, then had the grilled octopus which was amazing, and the frutti di mare. Very good. My bartender was a little over the top but it was excellent service. Seemed well managed with a high attention to detail.

Delta had them for $8 a pop. I was surprised too.

Absolutely beat after the drive and flight, calling it a night up a whopping $22. A win is a win. Up early for sunrise pics and a tournament...will probably bet the NIT as well.
