I totally agree with you....there are some places in vegas who are always a safe bet

 

After the Caesar DL visit i did some groceries at cvs and further chilled in my room ( watch the voice us just love that program) just had a hunch to go gambling at around 5 am ( just very superstitious) and the hunch was dead on, made a good profit being up on my favorite game still much down due to all pokertournament entrees( didnt cashed in once)
Had some nice bonusses( AK suited, AA etc) after a short session went to the paris spa and relaxed for a few hours
The 9 pm pokertournament was a bust again didnt play bad but ended as bubbleboy...was very close in ending 2nd and cashing in..had pocket 4's and hit set on flop, unfortunately the other guy hit a flush.
Its all good though as i know i will cash in shortly.....last trip i was a bit down too and grinded my way back....

Me too! However that diamond lounge always seems to be too cold even with a sweater. I really like that one though and they tend to have a good selection of snacks. Looking forward to being there soon!

I wouldnt recommend this show to anyone

 

This morning i met Smerrian and we went to ellis island.
Wanted to check this out as everbody on the boards is promiting this place
First we did some vp



Vp expert smerrian told me it would have been wiser to loose the 9 and although i hit my flush i see it would have been wiser( go for the big win)


As i signed up and with 5$ free play i ended up with a profit of 7$ yeehaa[emoji6]( tipped that the waitress)

The breakfast was indeed very good (especially the scrambled eggs)
I ordered the californian

Had a really good time with some members from vf
Had a nice few drinks and good conversations
After the little get together i did some nice shooting on the craps table for smerrian
Decided to play crazy 4 poker

In the beginning it went very bad and i was down the hole for quite a bit.
We had a nice table though, an aussie guy an american guy and an american lady sitting next to me.the drinks were comming ok and lady next to me got a nice break when i told her to play my bonus and she did that she got aboat(100$).
I made a great comeback and quitted when i was about even.
Made a little stop at paris to play my favorite game there and made a nice little profit
Resulting in the fact that after 10 days in vegas gamblingwise im even( dont get mad)

Freaky friday
Strange day first of all the wet sauna and steamroom in spa were broken.
Than i went for nothing to the Rio for a tournament which already was cancelled in june( found this out later today...pretty mad and upset about that as i talked to my host monday about this will talk to him tomorrow)
Also was a bit late for this meeting

It was short and sweet as my ride wanted to leave early and i spoke to some fellow vf degens

 

What a bummer! I saw them years ago and thought it was great. I wonder if the quality has gone downhill or maybe just this evening.

 

Its also a matter of taste ofcourse
I know that quite a few americans found zumanity great( i found it xtremely lame)
I saw penn and teller a few years ago too and remember the coin and fish act( which was pretty ok) but overall i just didnt like it...i have seen far better magicans and comedians( maybe im spoiled)

 

Well sure, but you're Dutch. I recall being 18, backpacking through Europe and being SCANDALIZED by the live sex show I attended in Amsterdam. Ahhhh...the good old days. I'd love to make back to Amsterdam to experience it as a (slightly more responsible) adult --- I'm afraid at 18, I spent much of my time there drunk and/or high. Legal booze, weed, and prostitution --- it was like the dumb American college kid's Mecca.
