    My Trip Report

Hi all, just at the airport awaiting departure for my tenth Vegas trip.

Almost exactly a year since my last trip and in that time I have learned what an 'app' is and how I can get it onto my phone, and then worked out how to post photos to it, so I imagine this might become more of a picture based TR.

Previously my games of choice have been blackjack and poker, but Vegas Trip 9 was almost solely VP based (inspired by Flusher), which turned out to me my first ever winning trip (although that was mostly due to a $1k hit on Double Diamond).

So VP will be the core of my trip this time. Comped 2 nights at the Stratosphere and very reasonable casino rate on a Star suite for the remaining 3 flights, which hopefully will be comped back end.

Long haul and connecting flight ahead, so don't land for another 19 hours but looking to catch up on some movies and such on the plane.

    Meanwhile, here's last year's win...[IMG]

One thing I have done is earmark $125 for a single go on $25 VP. Was considering going for something with a little volatility (Boner Deluxe?) but I think I'll settle for straight forward BP as even two pair would be a nice outcome!

9/6 Jacks at $25? That would be one of the best combos of volatility and return, imo. Good luck!

Hells Bells 19 hrs :cry:whats your route?
10 hrs direct from Gatwick is torture for me to get to Vegas, Virgin makes it a little nicer tho

Lots of slot porn pls, always more room for VP porn :D

Dub-Ord-Las is the route, should've been 14 hours but there was a schedule change. Still in Chicago unfortunately due to the incident there earlier today.

Glad I'm not on that plane though, passengers just being told it will be some time before they can even retrieve possessions (passports etc) so they're stuck behind a police cordon at present!

So arrived a few hours ago, was holding my own on VP from being $50 down to $50 up for quite a few hours. Mostly on dollars. Bitter sweet that I hit the picture (to follow, sorry won't upload, but it's quad 10s) and quad queens when I ramped down to quarters. Just over 5k coin in, need a bit more in this evening before bed.

Not sure, but I think I got another quad queens on quarters. Definitely hit a quad on dollars (sevens?) then messed around on VP for a while. Winded up tonight by doing a few spins on $5, hit a straight but winded up even.

    Day -$220

How do you like The STRAT ? I used to have some good luck there, but haven't been there in years. Good luck and have a great time.

Always liked the Strat, seems to have a good selection of VP and importantly low table limits! $5 single deck and usually $25 double deck 3:2.

Here's the quad I tried to post last night, unfortunately battery died for the others including the one at dollars, fully charged ready for today's battle which will commence in about an hour!

Down about 100 on the morning session, 1k coin in. No quads but a couple of fulls house. Just dropped $30 in 6 hands at Aria on DDB, progressive is looking quite attractive.

Disaster yesterday. Made my $30 back on roulette whilst waiting for the others. Had an agonising hand on triple play later on at Aria (pictured), but that was the only thing of interest all day. No quads, no 4 to a Royal. We went to Henry's at Cosmopolitan for an early dinner, had possibly the best sandwich I've ever had (Reuben). That was definitely the highlight of the day.

Evening session only lasted about an hour, dropped 200 in about 30 mins (ON QUARTERS!!!!).

Ended up $500 down for the day.

At an event off strip for most of the day today, so will be predominantly evening gambling. [IMG]
