    My Trip Report

    Well, where shall I start...

Las Vegas Limo was not going when I arrived, but our group was 7 people so we rented a limo to the Bellagio. This place is AWESOME! 5 nights here (3 paid, 2 from wagerworks) The first two days were mostly sight seeing and clubbing, but a few minor victories at the craps tables kept me ahead after all the food and alcohol we were consuming.

    Wednesday is where the

Wow, it automatically posted it before I could finish... Anyways, Wednesday was where the action started....

I brought 1500 to spend for the 5 nights. Since I was at 1700 on Wednesday I started bumping up my bets at the pass line to $25 and went from there. I was at that damn table for 4 hours and just was up $25 bucks when this woman stepped to the table. She put down $10,000 and wanted all 100's and we all kind of just dropped our jaws. She was a betting on the darkside(no pass line) I looked at a few people and we all just smiled and knew we needed to roll our points. She ended up getting the dice and rolled for 30 minutes before she rolled her 7, her point was 4 and she never hit it in that 30 minutes (the stickman said that was the craziest roll he had ever seen). I looked down and had amassed over $2,000. I put the dealer on the line for $200 and left to go to the buffet. That was truly a great dining experience. I filled up on crab legs and shrimp for awhile and relaxed while talking to a couple next to me from Fiji, lol

I then tried some 3 card poker for awhile and pretty much stunk until I said this is the last hand through down my last $25 to lose and got trip aces which got me back $750 (I had lost 500 already.) Bedtime for me, and my roomie wanted to go up as well.

Thursday was the day I decided to get good at VP. I had the worst luck at that for about 20 minutes, but then things started to get a little better when I figured out I was back to even. I got up and a woman with the "black glove" sat down and hit a royal. Good for her, lol. Back to craps. I had given my roomie most of my money so I wouldn't go crazy (he had some phone calls he needed to make.) I caught up with the others and We walked down the strip just to find a new place to eat. We ended up at the Mandalay Bay and had the buffet there, nothing to write home about. That is a nice corner, even though I hate the Luxor. The place seems "cold" to me. Caught a cab back to the Bellagio, sat at the bar and played some more VP, where I went down $100 bucks, and quit... Had 4 cards to the royal TWICE

Wow, again... Sorry I need to wrap it up anyways.

Went to bed, Friday was uneventful except we tried the "aquarium" at the MB. Not worth it, but okay. The NY/NY coaster gave me a headache, but a little vodka and pineapple cleared that right up.

Here is the bummer... My roomie met an old friend from high school at The STRAT , and as he entered the hotel, there was a tour coming in and he bumped into a few people. When he tried to pull out his wallet to pay for something, it was gone, along with $2000 of mine. I was sooo livid. I went back to the craps table at the "B" before I had to leave and discovered that I had left my Club card there. Played a few minutes, table was really cold so I went to the Vip room to see where I stood with the minimal play I actually used my card for. They told me that my room was taken care of and all the food was comped as well and to look for some free comp nights in the future. Shocked, I asked what they had me down for and they said "$175 for 10 hours of play at the craps tables and some some 3 Card poker." I wasn't at the tables for that long... My guess is that maybe they counted someone else who jumped in my spot got rated on my card. A suprise that was welcomed, it ended up saving me almost a grand. Sorry this is so long, but I tend to ramble when comes to Vegas.. : )

Sorry to hear about the wallet thing, but I'm glad to see that you got some great comps.

Well, that trip report was a warning. I have never heard of anyone having trouble in Vegas. We are always carfull, but have been getting more relaxed after so many trips without event.

Oh, and good post on the craps winnings. I love to hear anyone talk up my favorite game. I have had good luck since I've made craps my #1 game. Now I win at the craps table and give it back to the casino's on the slots and roulette. Maybe I'll get wise one of these days and stay away from the one armed bandits (can't give up roulette, I just love the sound of the ball on the wheel).

Oh no! I hate to hear of people getting robbed. I'd rather watch it all be lost on red on the roulette table than have someone steal it. Hope it didn't sour your trip too much.

Congrats on the comps! That's wonderful! Hope you're able to take them up on the free rooms soon. If not, you can always give them to me. [IMG]

Great report Vegas jer. Sorry about the wallet thought, that's a bummer. I think we all tend to forget that where there's a lot of tourists, there will always be pick pockets.

Thanks to all, I called the Bellagio today and they said I am going to receive a coupon in the mail for three nights free. Again, I am dumbfounded how I was rated for that. A friend of mine told me maybe they put 10 hours in instead of 5 or maybe the pit saw I was betting for the boys and bumped it up. In any case, it is a great thing!

Wow! Three nights free at the Bellagio! That's outstanding! It's not your $2K, but it's a heck of a lot better than nothing! Good for you!
