Looks like Club prices for the pool... well some places have converted their day club spaces to pool areas, so I guess they think they can transfer the prices... to all the pools lol :rolleyes::cuss:

Half snapped after using our Diamond Lounge vouchers drinks (4 $20 drinks each at several different bars) but cannot be combined. So our $11 beers left $9 on the table. I did have a $20 Single Pina Colada. Yes...$20 for a single. MB went to his room to get money and march straight down to the pits near the Forum Shops entrance fopr some VP. It is actually a video poker smorgasboard in the area for anyone who likes VP. I am not saying the pay tables are great but VP everywhere. Okay....Gaggles on a little time out.....

Vegas to San Luis Obispo is a really long drive....Could take hours. Also, once your're in Reno, going back to PCH (even though you are going to pick up J.R. in Oakland) is a real trek. Monterey is about 1.5-2 hours south of Oakland. You will be spending all of your time driving. I'm a California girl and know this territory for my whole life. Have you considered going from Vegas to Palm Springs and then to L.A. and up PCH. That would be a good drive. Four hours Vegas to P.S. (I live in the P.S. area). There's a back way that's very easy. P.S. to L.A. around 2-3 hours (depending on traffic) and then up the coast....

Okay, I didn't manage a nap but I did relax a bit after a full pool day. I know this may shock some of you but MB is already on the casino floor gambling. Going down to meet him right after this update.

Last night Vegas was much slower than a normal Thursday. Caesars was nowhere near as busy as Flamingo. You would never have known anything was different after being there. Now, because Fireball happened at some point, I am sketchy as to the details of how busy Linq and Harrah's were. I do recall stopping in the Casino Royale towards the end of the night for some Ult X that went nowhere.

To change things up after a lot of video poker at CP, Flammy and Linq, I played one on one with the dealer at Mississippi Stud. I had a $200 buy in up to about $500 and cashed out $300. I still have those chips in my pocket actually. The .50 Royal was hit at Harrah's long bar and was a pleasant surprise.

I burned through my $585 Free Play as if it was $585 of Free Play and I had begun to dip into my own hard earned money early in the night. I was in for about $500 or so when I snagged that first royal. That second Royal was at Bugsy's on my way ro bed. Glad I stopped in for a nightcap. A nightcap being about 5:00 am. Sun was up as I was rolling back to Caseasrs.

I feel fairly rested and good to go. But ni Fireball tonight! I know I know...easy to say when you are safely in your room and haven't had a drop of booze yet.

Masks are on pretty much everyone and the staff have been more direct in requesting that you have them on or that they are on properly. And in other Covid updates, after I got off the Caesars-Cromwell overpass, I was offered cocaine before I walked into the Flamingo and two ladies of the night put out the feelers at Bugsy's within 30 minutes of me being there. So essentially, much of Vegas is up and running again!!!

    So...shall we continue????
