Yep, I sat in the sun right by it this weekend. Be forewarned, those tables probably have the worst odds and rules of any BJ tables in all of Vegas.

Interested to hear about the trip across the border... I'm planning on going July 30th and don't want to get to customs just to find out they won't actually let me go!

Birthday trip (if I make it out of Canada!)

You’d think it was JR going to Vegas tomorrow! We were still parked when this happened.

Ah the lovely JR. You’re a blessed man. You’re also really funny. I can see why the two of you are a good match.

The traffic has been a little lighter on sunday headed on I15 southbound.

If your headed to lake mead, when you leave take 95 south to 164 west. That will get you to I15 and bypass the primm traffic jam if there is one.

You'll be smooth sailing to barstow.

    To get to slo, i'd take 58, 223, 99, 166, 101.
    Or you can do 58, 99, 46, 101

Either way you'll be back tracking a little bit.

When I see this, it reminds me of the SNL skit "The Californians" where 30 different street numbers (not names!) are directionally given to get to an otherwise, relatively straightforward location lol. Perhaps I'm old fashioned, but wouldn't an iPhone GPS get ya there and let ya know traffic situations on different routes? ;)

We are checked in and the bags are forwarded to Vegas everyone. Air Canada check in was painful. Not sure what is going on but 5 agents checked in one person in 25 minutes. I guess I would make 2 in 25 minutes. Either way, my patience was waning.

I haven't flown domestically in as long as I can remember. All my flights in the last 20 years have headed directly south. I am connecting on this flight within Canada. Having said that, the airport terminal I am in is pretty busy. About 90% wearing masks.

Plane is on time. Weather here in Calgary will be a pleasant 23 degrees later today or 73 degrees for my American brothers and sisters. I think it will be a tiny bit warmer in Vegas this week????

    Gaggles,

Question for you. My understanding with travel to the USA from Canada, is that when you RETURN to Canada, you need to self isolate for 14 days. Is that something you're going to need to do when you get back or has anything changed recently? This 14 day self isolation is the only thing preventing me from planning a Vegas trip since I can't be away from the office for that long at this time.

well when you can pound the pooch at home for your job when you return like he can, then the 14 days is easy :)

Yeah, because Tapatalk sucks. So much easier just to use the website, especially now that you can load multiple pics at once.

14 day self isolation is still required; no change. I just canceled my August 4th birthday trip. The other tough thing for Canadians now is no out of country medical insurance will cover you for COVID as of the March travel ban.

Yes to self quarantine for two weeks but I work from home. Easy peasy.
