Also Venetian, Palazzo, Casino Royale, and Circus Circus (charges for valet).

I don't expect TI to charge for parking anytime soon as they are really pushing that in their advertising.

This is very similar to what I normally do also. We fly into Mccarran and rent at the airport (because its usually cheaper than renting on strip), keep the car for part of the trip, then drop the car off (usually at TI because Dollar is usually cheapest) a few days before leaving. TI drop off is very convenient and between trams and such its pretty easy to get back to whever after that.

Wynn gonna start charging effective 7 August. Structure roughly similar to Aria/Bellagio.

Vital Vegas also mentioned CET gonna hike fees as well.

And you wonder why downtown is kicking butt.

Yes, it still needs a spot in their garage, which is what they are charging for.

I see that Miracle Mile parking is free. How early does the parking open up? I see from their website the shops open at 10:00a. My better half and I arrive at 7:30a on Saturday. Looking to eat at Mon Ami Gabi and plan to park at MMS. Any issues that I might need to be made aware?

It's also self-parking for Planet Hollywood, so the parking garage is always open.

But also remember that Harrah's initial claim (in advertising the place) was that they didn't have resort fees and you know where that went so just because they don't charge for parking now doesn't mean they won't do it by the end of the year. I think it depends on how busy their parking lots are. With more strip hotels starting to charge for parking you will find the "free" lots getting more filled up so they may eventually charge for parking since their lots will be filled (if they don't).

I visited vegas in April and already I noticed that the parking lots at the Venetian and Palazzo were a little more "fuller" than I have seen before. I visited about 1 pm on a week day and I always used to park near that middle escalator area on the first level at the Palazzo (it goes up right to the middle of the casino floor). In April the first level was filled near the escalator so I had to go down 1 level where I had to park a little aways from that middle escalator.

I just hope that the Palazzo doesn't charge for parking when I get there for the January CES. I'm afraid that starting on Jan 1, 2018 they will start to charge for parking the same as Mlife and Harrahs. Sorry for jinxing it.

Did anyone notice if the PH parking lot was "fuller" than before? I was wondering if more people were parking there because they didn't charge for parking.

Sure seems like it, doesn't it???

Recently, on a Friday night, I got an UberEATS request to pick up a food order at Popeyes, IN PLANET HOLLYWOOD of all locations. There is literally a Popeyes at every major intersection in this town, but this customer had to choose the one in Planet Hollywood. Had to find a place to park, did I mention it was a Friday night, in that crowded garage. Never again, if I get another UberEATS request at that location I'm not taking it.

I don't know specifically how UberEATS works, but this doesn't even sound like something that should be an option. Did they have to pay extra for you having to park and walk all the way to Popeyes and back? On a related note:

Holy cow is there really a Popeye's in Planet Hollywood!???! :feedme:

LOL, fried chicken and Popeyes in particular is like crack to me! We have plenty of them here but when I'm out of town and looking for comfort food, that hits the spot.

The way UberEATS works is through a separate UberEATS app, different from the Uber app used to request a ride.

In cities where UberEATS is available through the UberEATS app there is a list of participating restaurants near your location. You select a restaurant then scroll through their menu and make your selection. Everything, food and delivery charges, are charged to the credit card you have on file with Uber.

Then the restaurant, through their UberEATS app, receives the order, prepares it, then sends out a request for a driver, usually the closest one, to pick it up and deliver it to the customer.

As for what I got paid for this one hour of agony, was not worth my time. The delivery fee I got was $5 and of course no tip from the customer. I sent a message to Uber about this and recommended they remove this location from their list as there are plenty of other locations around town.

Uber support understood my situation and did the best they are allowed to do. They added another whopping $5 to my pay for excessive wait time. BFD.....On busy weekend nights like this was I average $20/hr minimum and usually much more from my Uber X passenger rides.

I learned something from this experience though, I found out through Uber that I can have my driver account separated where I can turn off UberEATS when I want to and just get Uber X request. I immediately did that and now when Uber X passenger business is super busy like weekends I turn off UberEATS. When things are slow, like it usually is during the week and daytime hours I turn UberEATS back on and do both.

Not only is there a Popeyes in Planet Hollywood, there is one in the Excalibur too. There may be other casinos a well, but I found the one in Excalibur recently when I was working that area and needed to take a break. I went to the food court and found my heroin addiction, Popeyes, there also.

Wow... I did Uber eats when I was between jobs and I complained whenever I got a pickup in my cities downtown because I had to find parking, but a request in a fucking casino? Lmfao. Hell to the no. Why would Uber even add that?

I guess when Uber added all the Popeyes locations they didn't realize the logistics of the casino location. They did thank me for taking the time to write to them and explain the difficulties of accessing this particular location. At least from the response I got from Uber CS they are going to consider removing that location from their app.

The odd part of this is the customer ordering from the Planet Hollywood location, considering where he lives.

The delivery location was on Harmon about a 1/4 mile east of Maryland Pkwy. If you look it up on a map Harmon is in between Tropicana and Flamingo. Guess what is on the corner of both Tropicana & Maryland Pkwy and Flamingo & Maryland Pkwy, a freakin' Popeyes. Yeah, just two minutes away from where I delivered this order. Don't know why he ordered from the Planet Hollywood location.
