    Thanks Aaron!
Just woke up, Aaron5 called and said Bacchanal 10 minutes, lol.
Jumped up and threw clothes on and were walking over to Caesars right now.
Looks like we came with $1800, and now we have $2700!
So, we took $200 a piece to play today.
    See what we can do!

So, after Bacchanal we hit up the Palace Court High Limit Slots...
Got a few jackpots, but nothing over $2000 ($25 slots)
Now were over here at Kitson with everyone.
Some RANDOM ass shit in here, haha

Came back over to PHo, played a little DDB, between Kris and I we lost $140, so we still have $200 for later (with $2200 in the room! Lol)
Were going through the Miracle Mile right now to find some sugar scrub at Basin, then probably play some UTH, and head for home)

I went into Kitson last weekend, and they do have some of the randomest things I've ever seen. Way to lock in a nice win for the trip!

So, we played a little VP at PHo, dropped $100...went over to 3card..MAGICALLY hit trip 10's for a quick $150 profit.
The rest of the group joined us, and we headed over to Martarano's at Paris...
Got right in with 7* card, and here we are...

awesome hits, seems like a very wide variance in betting level, from nickels to $5. I'm curious as to the strategy, whether you are just taking a quick flyer on $5 DDB or what amount you are dedicating to the higher levels. Nice to get that dealt flush and quads up at such a high level!

    Quick update:
Had a fan-fucking-tastic dinner at Martoranos!
Chicken Parm and Penne Alla Vodka (shared with my wife)
Changed the plans, to leave at 6am, after a good night of sleep, rather than driving all night (cost an extra $40 of rental car fees)
We grabbed an extra hundo out of the safe, (leaving a $2200 bare minimum profit), and the group headed over to all ride High Roller (were all 7* and Diamonds, so it's our free vouchers)
the LATEST we'll be up is midnight, so we can get a decent 6 hours of sleep.

On the variance of betting levels, im reckless, lol...notice the progression, hahah...i need another big run at DDb, so I can pop awak @ $5 level!

Playing 9/5 DDB at $25/hand is a recipe for disaster long term without significant disposable income or some other angle. A casual 400 hand per hour pace costs you $213 per hour with perfect play before comps.

That being said, i often play nickels or quarters when I go to casinos, but i played a five dollar 3 play machine for the first time in my life this month in Joliet with zero disposable income. But I had a 62.2% edge on the one hand I played...

I wish it cost $213 an hour! Damn variance, then again the minimal $5 I played in Vegas was even more brutal 6/5 Boner at Paris and variance was the only thing that saved me.

It definitely worked out for Timspeed this time. Seems like I remember the big wins taking those flyers on $5 more than remember the surely far more frequent bloodbaths. (Aka -$2,800 in 20 minutes at Cromwell Bartops)

    Well, 6am Sunday morning here...
Finally tally: +$400, after dropping a quick $200 between Kris and I at 25c DDB here at Ballys, just before bed.
Still...had a fucking blast of a weekend, and realized the $2200 that we originally had planned to get out of Rincon...
So, all in all, good trip!

And Doug...Im realizing more and more that "Full Pay" means not much, lol. Luck, and Fun play a much bigger role. :evillaugh

usually, when you go from ZERO to Diamond-in-a-Day ($50k coin-in) casinos will do almost anything to get you back...

Were you a brand new member when you did diamond in a day? That might have made your offers even better than typical.

And short term luck is much more useful than a better paytable I agree if your plans are short-term, but definitely huge swings in this level. Without quads as Beeejay points out, not very difficult to be down thousands in minutes. Yikes!

Super true. I am a low roller (usually about $800/day) but on the trip I opened my first TR account, I caught absolute fire and reached DIAD. The offers I received for the next year and a half were top notch. But after a few trips of taking advantage of those offers, my offers have returned to the reflect my usual level of play.

$200 a day and hitting $25 slots for multiple jackpots? Holy fuck. My variance has been on the bad side lately. Can I borrow Kris for good luck? lol
