    Hi all,
    never been to Vegas for New Year's and was interested in experiencing it this year. I do have a few offers;
    1. Excalibur NYE Party
    2. Luxor NYE Party
    3. CET Paris Party

    I really dont know what to expect. Has anyone been to any of these? Is it worth it? How would you rank these and what is the dress code?

    Really debating to taking the party invite or just my regular offer of 500 fp/500 rc at MGM Rewards or CET of 250fp.

    Any feedback would be appreciated.

    Thanks all!!

    I can't speak on the MGM ones, but the CET ones aren't anything special. Its just dinner and cocktails(mid shelf at best) and a band with w bunch of random people who'd rather be gambling. In the past it was party and freeplay, but most if not all the locations are party or freeplay this year. If you're gonna be in Vegas for NYE then these parties aren't the way I'd do it. I'd take the 500FP/$500RC from MGM and book a nice dinner and buy ticket(s) to one of the other NYE parties at the clubs. The $500 FP and $500 RC easily is more than a dinner and a party ticket and it will be more fun than the casino gambler parties.

    Last time we did NYE we did nice party at Paris. We left at 11:30 and walked out into the middle of the strip to take part if the fireworks and watch the drunks.

    Giving up $500 fp and $500 rc for the party does not make sense at all. Do keep in mind that ALL restaurants will be very busy.

    It is a little late to make plans, but MGM status helps with that with priority booking and that that offer level I'd assume their host could book em a reservation.

    Thanks for the feedback. Youre right about comp or party...they are very adamant that it is only one or the other.

    Yea to be honest, Id rather keep the fp and rc. This year we have been to Vegas A LOT and trying to experience "new" things for us...restaurants, shows, etc.
