I saw a post on here once that there was a casino or two that had quarter or half dollar chips on craps. Is there a casino in Vegas that would allow me to lay the 4 and 10 for only $20 each and take $0.50 for the vig or will every one require $40 on each.

Isn't the vig to lay 5%. If it is then it is $1 some casinos will let you go to $35on a buy for $1 but some charge $2 on anything over $25.

I thought the vig was charged on the win. $40 wins $20 plus a $1 vig payment. At least that is what I was told have never placed a lay bet but wanted to try something next month when I visit Vegas and was hoping to start off with a lower bet so it only cost me half to see how bad my idea works.

I'm pretty sure it is 5% on either buy or lay on the bet amount.

I won't comment on your lays or vigs but the cal and Fremont have .25 cent chips on the crap tables. Not sure but I think MSS also has .25 chips. El Cortez also has .25 cent chips.

I know you are right about MSS, I was playing and I got one and I wasn't sure what it was.

Or something of that color. The .25 chip at the Cal is blue (used to be, not sure about now). the .25 chip at MSS I think was white.

Actually I kept some of them for souvenirs, you don't see those .25 chips very often.

Are they the same size as other chips?
