    My Trip Report

Sixteen days to go till MM2.2, and the pre-trip chores have started:

    - emailing back & forth with the rest of the crew on show options (looking like Steven Wright at The Orleans) and where to have Semi-Swanky Dinner Night
    - deciding which hotel reservation to keep (Paris, cancelling Monte Carlo even though they have poker & Paris doesn't)
    - reading through my 2005 AGC for worthwhile coupons
    - digging out the summer clothes
    - planning our poker schedule
    - dreaming of being in an alcohol-induced altered state- wearing my ultra-touristy dogs playing poker silk shirt and sunglasses, of course- and scooping up a huuuge pile o' chips after slowplaying my flopped quad aces

    I've officially got the itch...

Join the crowd! There are enough people on here who have "the itch" that we should be able to get a discount on Bond's medicated powder.

For what it's worth, I've already packed. Twice.

Steve's playing??? Sweet!! I saw him many, many years ago when his career just started to take off. It was a small venue and I had front row seats. The man was hilarious. My sides ached. I hope he's still as good.

    PS.

I won't pack 'til Monday night. If I forgot it then I can either buy it or I don't need it.

It's a toss-up between Wright or Andrew "Dice" Clay...I'm sure we'd go see Dice instead if it was a guys-only trip, but I like Steven's dry/ironic humor as well.

As for packing, I'll probably start the night before around midnight since I won't be able to sleep...

...just one problem with that scenario--

If you flopped four aces, you're gonna have a scary board and a lot of checking...how about sweating out a lot of reraises and the case Ace on the river makes somebody else's full boat?

Then you'll be scooping chips for HOURS!!!!

Damn, that sounds like a good time!

    Mikey :D

Hey, that'll work for me...whatever it takes to get more money into a pot I'm going to win...but I just *HATE* being the one to catch on the river
