LOL, I just had a vision of some guy leaning on the rail getting his shoulders massaged. Instead of people shouting, "hands hands" they are shouting, "head head!"

Super cheap bad beer is of no interest to me. I'd rather pay for a good beer.
The characters on the strip and on Fremont just annoy me and I hate it even though I've worked in Times Square for many years and see them every day.
    Overly drunk idiots.

Clubs - I'm 31 and have (nor had) any interest in the mega-clubs. Maybe I'm too cheap.

Shopping - As Josie said, I'm more likely to shop online and a majority of the stores can be found in any larger metro area.

Spa - Never been, probably never will go. I'll go on a cruise to relax, I go to vegas to drink and be a degenerate gambler.

Even though I have no interest in these things, I am glad they are in Vegas. And I can see why people love clubbing, shopping, etc. It's just not for me personally. There really is something for everyone and its one of the main reasons I love it.

Things we have no interest in:

    1. Golf
    2. Shopping

Under the right circumstances, we could be up for pretty much anything else.

Come to think of it, under the right circumstances (fun people, good drinks, etc.), we could probably be talked into both of those too...

    Variety is the spice!

    Drinking
    Strip Clubs
    Hideous "modern" rooms
    High-end suites with unattractive decor
    Active or Idle Construction
    Corporate building facades for resorts
Expensive, overrated dining (especially on the Strip)
Cirque du Soleil and its knock-offs (have watched 4 of them--Mystere, MJOne, O and Love--and they all bore me to sleep...I keep trying...I just can't get into an adult circus with little to no dialogue)
    Random fees
Video Poker (although it at least remotely moves me, I would rather play bingo)

This question is really helping identify the demo of the VMB... Strip Clubs and Night Clubs sure aren't fairing very well, yet both appear to be flourishing!

    Idle construction is the worse.

Also, beggars with any variation of the "why lie? I need beer money" sign. Never was funny.

    • Clubbing is not my thing, I prefer a nice bar or live music/entertainment
    • Overpriced drinks in general
    • Swimming pools, can go there at home or anywhere else on vacation
    • Shopping malls, waste of time and money
    • Shows, except (stand-up) comedy shows
    • Don't care for spa's
    • Don't care for golf
    • Constructions, they take away the magic of Las Vegas
    • Taxi drivers that take you through the tunnel, even though you told them not to (no tip for you my friend)
    • Playing VP at the bar and having to pay for your drinks
    • Long lines at check-in (especially after traveling 16+ hours)
    • Long lines at the buffets
    • Non air conditioned busses
    • But the worst thing of all is that all non-bottled drinks taste like chlorine, ugh!

The porn slappers anoyed me a lot at first, but now they became part of the Vegas experience.

    Forgot to mention:

    • Outlet stores
    • Resort fees, especially when you don't even use the amenities
    • Being obliged to tip, when the service is crap

    1. Clubs
    2. Obnoxious people
    3. Shows (outside rock concerts/headliners)
    4. Suburbs
    5. Shops
    6. Footpaths which are difficult to navigate when I just want to get from one casino to another
    7. That desert air which dries me out (like the heat though)

    *Nightclubs
    *Strip Clubs
*Hamburger joints - I don't care if it's In-and-Out or a celebrity chef place, I am tired of hearing about burgers! The last thing I want to eat in Vegas is a burger or anything else served on a bun!
    *Uber Expensive Restaurants
*New Retail featuring the same stores already on the strip
    *Adult Slushy Bars
*Costumed Freaks and other glorified panhandlers clogging up walkways

Hey gang, as I interpret ken's original post, he's asking about items disinteresting to us, not things we dislike. There is a difference.
For example, as I watch the Winter Olympics tonight, snowboarding disinterests me. But, it does seem kinda cool and something likable enough.

    I hate this.

    Walk on the right.

If you need to stop, pull to the side.

I hate asses that stop in the middle of a busy pathway to talk and I hate folks that walk against the grain.

This isn't really a disinterest tho'.

Weird I made an earlier post and POOF it's gone or did I forget to press Submit Reply....[IMG]

Anyway slot machines are number 1 and hell I can't remember the other thing now.

I find slots are just too boring. It's just pressing a button all day and no fun....akin to playing scratchers without the screen and lights.

    Oh now I remember....

Number 2 are high end restaurants.

I pay all that money for a steak and very little food while buffets offer unlimited food and more variety. My favorites are the Brazilian Churrascaria's (similar to Pampas Grille) but better. There I get unlimited filet mignon (among other things) or go to a high restaurant and get one or two filets and a some sparse veggies for $50+.

No interest in either of those 2 whatsoever.

Some other things people mentioned fill a spot for me like chain restaurants. Other things like slappers I don't see that often.
