Hello everyone.
I've been lurking around here for the past year since my last trip to Vegas. This is a great place for information on the best adult playground in the world!
Some info on our trip:
We are staying at the Alladin for 4 nights ($45 special I found on these boards
) and going to a couple of shows (Mystere & Danny Gans.)
One night will be our "dress up" night, and we want to go to a nice steakhouse, so it looks like I'll be making reservations at Delmonico, everyone here seems to give reports about it. I'll also be hitting the craps tables pretty hard. Last year we gambled a bit at NYNY and Casino Royale ($1 craps, 100X odds, and the dealers were pretty decent.) This year, we're thinking of trying to focus our gambling to a specific casino to see if we can get any comps.
Here's a couple of my concerns:
* Should we be worried about gambling at Alladin because of their financial troubles? (Does this affect their payouts on slots?)
* I'm concerned about all of the cancellations we've heard about this year by Danny Gans. We really are looking forward to this show because it was so highly recommended by so many different people when we were there last year. If he does cancel, I know we will be refunded for our tickets, but does anyone know if we might be able to get tickets to some other shows on a short notice like this?
Things on our "to do" list:
** Check out the fountains at Bellagio
** The Big Shot at the Strat, the biggest thrill in Vegas (other than winning huge amounts of $$$$$)
** Fremont Experience, always leave one night for "old school" Vegas!
** Craps, Craps, and more Craps.....
** Pirate show, before they change it this month, we missed it last year!
** Shop the Forum, Desert Passage, and any other place my wife can spend the $$$$
** Gamble at the Hard Rock....We were there last year on the night that John Entwistle (bassist for the Who) died, and we didn't get a chance to gamble. I like that casino, and we'll be there on weeknights, so it shouldn't be too crowded, right?
** Did I mention craps??
Thanks for the read guys......any info or recommendations are appreciated.
