So Frontier... I guess I’m just a fan of SWA, so I may be a bit jaded. First the seats. Not comfortable unless you spring for the way too much extra upon buying the tickets. You are getting what you pay for, and luckily I sent my bag with my buddies who drove up. They are not kidding about making you pay for it at the gate if it’s bigger than a “personal item.” And when you are in the flight, don’t try and get in that exit row if you see an empty seat. “These seats are an extra $50 upgrade” was said like three times. I was originally assigned 8B (middle seat) but was given my own row if I wanted to move more towards the back in the teens. SOLD!

What I personally disliked the most was the in flight sales pitch for the credit card. We were subjected to them going through a 5 minute speech and then coming down the aisles with applications “Just for this flight only...” I don’t usually fly any other airlines lately, but I don’t ever remember this happening when I did.

Will I use them again? You bet if I’m in the same last minute situation and can go with any checked or carryon bags.

Okay, about 15 more minutes and then Circa time! Breakfast and gambling, what more can a degen ask for!

Good luck today! I hope we can both hit it big!

Thanks again for your help last night! I know you didn't feel like you did much, but it helped me a lot, especially the moral support! Lol The nerves calmed down right away once I got started.

Wow... Circa is pretty amazing. I’ll be back this summer for sure to watch some games. And Saginaw’s was pretty tasty. Pricey, but tasty. $15 craps table was empty so we jumped on it. No mentionable hits whatsoever, it was just lose a little/win a little. Tier match was flawless other than it’ll take a day for it to hit the system.

Okay... Time for the big hits to happen!

This is what I dislike the most about Frontier too. Every time Frontier sends me a survey after I fly with them, I give them feedback to get rid of this sales pitch.

One other thing about Frontier's sales pitch: They say that it gives you two free flights after you get the credit card. What they don't tell you is that Frontier charges a "close to departure" convenience fee to book any flight using their airline miles if the flight is within the next 180 days. Ludicrous, and not disclosed during their sales pitch.

But I will continue to fly them from SLC to LAS if they continue to offer round trip flights for ~ $30.

You ever feel light you are lighting hundreds? Like every stupid gambling move you make is wrong, but there is that light at the end of the tunnel that makes it all better and then some? That is Encore my friends... Highlight has to be hitting so many 4’s that I had it up to $500 and hit it twice and then calling all my bets off after the stick change and being RIGHT and taking them down for the next PSO! Bourbon has been flowing and Buddy Vs is next on the agenda. @AyDee , I switched the verbiage to “Take the WynnCore!” I wanna say between all of us betting for the dealers, they made a crazy amount on like three of us in a row.

As of right now, I’m up for the trip (and last trip too.) Gonna find a Wells Fargo that I can make a deposit at. Part of me says stop, and just enjoy being drunk and having some good food. Odds right now are 26-1 that I actually stop for the night. Any takers?

What bourbon have you been drinking?

@Jer at the end of the trip you will be saying "Take that Vegas". Hopefully with a slight slur from all the delicious bourbon :evillaugh:

I started with Woodford, but was told I can do better than Woodford. Whatever they are ordering, Encore has no problem sending it!

Wait. I just realized it's Tuesday. Encore is open now? If so, sweet!

So no, Encore is not open. I’m just waking up after a night of craziness and was rereading my posts. Not sure why I had Encore on the brain, but all that was at the Wynn. That was such a fun table after the dealers loosened up a bit after the tips were hitting. The losing was literally everywhere else.

Man I was drunk... I’m even laughing at the 26-1 comment, because if anyone would have taken it they would have won! No gambling after that, just hopped in a cab after Buddy Vs back to Bally’s and passed out. My 10 year ago self would kick my ass for hearing that. So sad... But probably saved me a ton of money I think.

And forgot to mention my getting older moment. When I booked my flight, I thought the return flight was at 745am. Come to find out, it’s 745pm. So I need to call Frontier and see what the cancellation policy is so I can head back with my crew around 9ish unless I can rearrange some in person things later on.

Plan is to eat something really greasy and has way too many carbs since I’ll be doing an IF for 24 hours to get back into the low carb way. Booooo... lol

Wow, what a great bounce back trip. I think that’s gonna be it until August, when my youngest turns 21 and then it’s going to be on for sure!

I would just like to clarify and state on the record to all that using the "Take that!, property x" verbiage
was coined by a Circa dealer, with a parlayed two way dealer bet, (hard 8 IIRC)
and would implore you all to keep it that way and make it a thing..
I'm eagerly hoping one day I hear someone yell it a table I'm at...
after all :thumbsup:"Teamwork makes the Dream Work!"
"and don't forget the shoes for the guys in bow ties"

Hope you don't fall for the delayed plane trip (Casino scene?) and bank it (mostly) back home so you can return all the sooner...

Nope, meeting the fellas at Ellis Island for some breakfast in 45 minutes and then we are hightailing it outta here with all of our winnings intact. Except the $59 dollars I’m forfeiting to give up my 745pm flight the day of. Not happy about that, but I get it. Small price to pay for being back in SD for a meeting at 3pm that I absolutely can’t miss.

And I REALLY wanted to yell that at Circa, but nothing was really hitting. And also feel proud to keep the saying going! It will be great to actually be at a table in the future and hear it!

Your 4 at $500! That's awesome! That craps table can be a cruel mistress. Enjoy Ellis Island (one of my new favorite places to play craps, eat BBQ). What did you have at Buddy V's?

I remember I ordered the lasagna again, but we all pretty much shared everything. What else that was, I really couldn’t tell you... :kill:

@Jer , have you tried going onto Flyfrontier.com and just changing your flight to a different date? Right now, Frontier is offering free flight changes provided that the origin and destination are the same. You still might end up not taking that flight, but at least you could have something in the hopper.
