Okay, #2 interview in the books. #3 will be either Thursday or Friday and it’s for sure in Phoenix.

So, flight was good. Completely full, and we almost had some issues before with a couple of ladies who have had the first dose of the vaccine and felt that was good enough to stop wearing a mask.

Good news is easy baggage claim, 4 min wait for the Uber, easy check in. Bad news? I’m just not feeling Nomad/Park MGM. I get that same feeling on the property when it was Monte Carlo. Just, blah.... More bad news? Whenever I try to take a pic there is a black screen. I’ve been told by some VMB faithful that I should just buy a new phone with some big wins! Until then, it’s off to find an Apple store that accepts walk ins. It’s an IPhone 8s plus, so it might be about that time. If anyone knows where the closest one to the strip is, fire away!

Okay, first thing on the agenda is some beer and baccarat. Hopefully I can provide pics! Buddy Vs is at 5 so I’ll probably head that way and see what trouble I can get into.

There's an Apple Store in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. I think there's also one in the shopping mall across from the Wynn.

I thought there was a phone repair store in the Miracle Mile shops too but it's definitely been a while and those need for traffic to stay afloat.

But yea the forum shops and fashion show mall definitely gave them.

Also good luck on the last interviews and the rest of the trip

I was going to suggest I thought there was one in Forum shops, but couldnt remember for sure, so I'm glad someone else confirmed it's not just the drugs! I dont own an iAnything, but as many of you may know, I'm the unofficial Caesars Palace walking map, so I was somehow aware of this in spite of never having walked in an Apple store in my life lol

They let me have a good room if I agreed to also take a slot tournamen
    Why not?

If you're on TMO or happy to switch over, they are doing trade-in promos on the iPhone 12s. I think the iPhone 8 Plus is getting $600 in trade-in. There might be better trade-in deals for the Galaxy S21s.

I too don't own ianything either @MCann and have been that way since being able to download music when it all started years ago with Napster. Apple was the one company you had to get music from if you had one of their devices so i never bought one of theirs. I want to be able to get whatever music, etc i want from any company, not just Apple so reason i've never bought an iphone, straight Samsung here.

Sorry to hear about the blah stay at Nomad. Now you'll know that that's a no no on future trips. Hope you are able to fix your phone so you can take some great pics. If not, there will always be lots of memories and future trips. No mask on plane? Problem with a capital P.

Good morning Vegas! After a solid 3.5 hours I’m up and feeling it from last night. A lot of ups and downs on the gambling front, but I had a lot of fun and put some solid play in at V/P and Wynn. Did hit the all tall and the all small at Cosmo yesterday, so @AyDee I knocked off a couple of your requests. Buddy Vs was really good. We had the chicken parm and lasagna with a Caesar salad. Really big portions, and with drinks and tip came out to about $140 I think? No dessert, just couldn’t do it.

A ton of walking, and the legs are letting me now. So the plus about the room is this bed. Nothing too soft or hard, but it’s just really working for me. The plan today is to log on and put some fires out (boooo work) and then see where today takes me. Lunch at Holsteins and dinner at Din Tai Fung for sure, so probably just a coffee and small cheap breakfast back to the room while I work.

Okay all, I thinks that’s it. I never made it to the Apple store, but one of the craps dealers at the Wynn told me she had the same issue and just googled it and whatever she did it worked. Yay internet! :woohoo: So pictures to come if that gets all sorted out. More to come!

Glad to hear you started on the right foot at the craps tables, and even better score by getting the free advice to get the phone remedy without having to wait or pay at Apple! Hope you go back and tip the dealer (if you haven’t already)!

Make some more good waves and take ‘em down today!

So awesome to read you got the all sm and tall!!!! Must've been a great roll for you to have won that. Hope your up $$$ and sounds like you are. We might be on the same lineup for Holsteins. I'll be doing a touch of work too while i have coffee so dont feel bad. At least you have the entire day to do what you want thereafter. 3.5 hrs of sleep? ya that doesnt work for me, no way could i function, Vegas or no Vegas.

Get the Mississippi tables warmed up for me. I'm halfway there!

Because I'd rather be sitting on a Cosmo Terrace than in the snow!

I'm with you, it's just never been my favorite. It's certainly not "bad", and even Circus Circus or Excal are better than the Best Western Kent Narrows Inn, but there are places I prefer more. I do have friends who absolutely love it there, though. It's just not where I'd choose if I only had a few nights in town.

Bavette's is great, and I like the Eataly charcuterie counter, but there are places I'd rather go to. But that's the amazing thing about Vegas, there's something for just about everyone. Unless you, like me, want Burger King, because the one at Casino Royale closed and I don't think there's there's one on the Strip anymore.
