Vegas 2016, a Pictorial Review

Got back from Vegas last night and realized on the flight home that I had not yet posted my 2016 pictorial review. So here it is. Don't think I have pics form every trip I took last year, but there are enough to give you an idea of the fun that was had ....

The Super Bowl [arty at aria was the first big event I went to last year
Also got a few glimpses of the year of monkey festivities


And of course I went to Bellagio to see what the conservatory did to celebrate the event



Springtime brought pool time. Have always loved the Bellagio pools

My stay at Cosmo also gave me a chance to check out the Marquee day club



I love walking the Strip and taking pics. That never gets old for me. And here's one I liked of Encore

And since it was a cloudy day, I decided to hit the forum shops for some eternal clear sky

Then some more night time pics





A nice stroll through the Venetian/Palazzo


Chihuly never gets old

Til next time Vegas

And next time was just a few months later


The summer trips included hikes near lake mead, including the old train caves


A trip up to Mt. Charlseton

And a hike up Lone Mountain

There was also plenty of chip porn throughout the summer


Which is good because I needed those chips to pay off my loan shark


Not as many pics form my fall trips, but there are a few


And ended the vegas year watching my Cats from the Cosmo box win a huge game

Thanks for the pics. Where does Aria hold their SB party? I've never been to the club there, I assume that's where it is?

 

The party I went to the past two years was in their convention center space. Last year they also did a smaller party in the old Zarkana theater

Thanks! When the gf moved in a while back with her cats, I insisted on soft paws for the sake of my furniture. He got hot pink because we thought it was funny. Now, I think he has a silvery glitter set

 

Its an awesome space for the SB party. I am trying out the Cosmo party this year, but I kinda wish I had done Aria again. Hopefully I feel differently in two weeks

I was trying to wrap my head around the amount of patience - and pain tolerance - one would need to possess to paint a cat's claws!
