I’m trying to book this type of room but when I search it doesn’t come up on any dates. Have they changed the name of this room type or is it not offered during covid times.

Looking at my comp calendar for Vdara the Studio Parlor is showing up as normal, under that name, so I don't know why you're unable to see it.

I wouldn't worry about booking Vdara, anyway.

It will be the last MGM resort to open and I'm not sure it will ever reopen, honestly.

I discovered Vdara....so that's very painful for me to type.

That's strange. I also see it when logged both in and out.
D: I love Vdara. Easy access to Aria and Bellagio. No smoking. Quiet. Rarely has kids. Microwave! Full size refrigerator!

I would say it depends on your offer. The studio parlor does not come for me when I am logged in either....only the studio

Why do you ask why. Really curious. I’ve always enjoyed stays there. Love having a kitchen.

The studio parlor has a divider between the bed and the couch. Same square ft.

It also has 1 TV for the living room section and 1 for the bedroom section on each side of the divider. Normal studio only has 1 TV

I've been staying there since they opened.

I assumed it would be the last MGM property to open because it's just a hotel.

True. At the same time it doesn't take much to operate compared to others. Probably only has around... 300 employees. Bellagio 10k lol.

    Why operate it?

Don’t people own condos in Vdara? Gotta keep the lights on for them...

Reduced occupancy at all resorts mean they need as many rooms as they can get open. Kinda funny how there's no official statement about being at 50% or whatever it is. Even asking them over the phone they don't know, lol.
