Hey All,

Taking a trip out to Vegas on the 25th and considering making this a “new experiences” trip. We always stay at Cosmo or V/P and want to mix it up this trip. Have 3 days booked at Cromwell and want to spend the other two at Vdara. Looking at room types and did some YouTube research and I’m thinking I really want the Panoramic Suite. That said most YT videos show the Pano Suite as an “01” room but a few show the “48” room. IMO the 01 room justifies the price while the 48 does not in the event I don’t get it back end comped.

My question is this: Is there anyway they differentiate between the 2 in name or description? Is there anyway to confirm I’ll get an 01 room if I book the panoramic suite?

I usually just ask my host at Cosmo/VP to get me the room type and location I want and it’s taken care of. I don’t have that luxury yet with mlife and more specifically Vdara. Just want to make sure I’ll be able to secure an 01 room otherwise I might just book a exec corner or lower since I’m already paying for a room when I have 10+ other hotels I can stay in for free.

Lastly if anyone has a great Aria host I’m open to introductions. I’d be happy to share my play from last year from my two main casinos where I usually stay and pay upfront to prove play and hope for the backend comp.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, a 01 vs. 48 room?
I've stayed at Vdara a lot and don't know what these mean. :P Haha.

The 2 ending numbers of the room. Example: the 30th floor would be 30001 or 30048. The are almost always the same from floor to floor so an 01 room would be in the same spot and the same room type from floor to floor.

Ahh, I see. Damn, wish I could remember what room I was in when I stayed in it. But it's been a couple years.
I do have this video. It has a view of the Bellagio Fountains and the mountains. I'm 99% sure this was the Panoramic.

Thanks. I’ve seen a bunch of videos, just need to understand if/how they differentiate between those two room numbers.

Oh, my bad. Hopefully you find an answer. If you happen to call Vdara to find out any room info. I'd recommend calling the concierge and then getting transferred to the front desk. They know wayyyy more about the rooms than those who are off-site and take reservation calls.

The video above from @Laugh appears to be City Corner fountain view. You can’t really see the fountains from the panorama suite as they are on the very end and Cosmo is in the way. Im not a fan of the executive suite layout. City corner is better for the lower room type and you can guarantee fountain view. I believe you can request a pano strip view but if its comp they may not guarantee it.

not on a comp. willing to pay for the room. Hoping to get it back end comped as I don’t have an mLife host yet. I’ve always played elsewhere.

So are you saying there is a pano suite and a pano suite strip view? Two different types?

Bear in mind that Vdara is within the Mlife ecosystem, but given that there isn't a casino attached, I don't think there are hosts directly assigned to it. There are certainly people who play but like staying at Vdara because it's nominally quieter, but those are the minority in my experience.

Understood and that’s why we are staying there a few days. It was my understanding that Aria Hosts had the ability to comp stays at Vdara.

Here is the floor plan for Vdara. Up in the image is facing south towards Aria. Rooms on the right side of the image face west towards the mountain. The best views of Bellagio Lake are 002-030.

Panoramic Suites are rooms 001 and 048
Executive Corners are 002 and 047
City Corners are 024 and 023

@CLE_Greg is correct - Aria hosts can book/comp rooms at Vdara. (The official Vdara website lists it as "Vdara Hotel & Spa, at Aria Las Vegas".) My host booked me a room at Vdara a couple of years ago. The Aria hosts will be the ones to apply any back end comps. Be sure to do (most of) your gambling at Aria!

The best thing about Vdara is that it's 100% non-smoking. I agree with @44inarow about how some folks prefer the quiet vibe.

FWIW - I made it from the elevator bank at Vdara to my seat at the blackjack tables at Aria in something like 4 minutes.

I loved my stay at Vdara. We were 55th or 50th floor I forget which but had a great view of the fountains. Does anyone have a lay out of the floor plan for the higher floors.
