I normally ignore marketing offers since we just arrange trips through our host. However I noticed something with respect to our January offers on the website.

For January, rather than displaying an offer it says "contact your host for your exclusive offer", additionally, for the first slot tournament offer in January (which are always the same standard offer, I noticed the offer was for one less night than normal).

Our play at V/P has not decreased, if anything it has gone up. So my question is has anyone else seen this? Does it demonstrate a change in comp calcs at V/P that others have reported at other properties?

I haven't reached out to my host yet, with a trip upcoming next week I won't bother him on this until after, but wanted to get the opinion of anyone else here that might have noticed the same.

I have noticed the same thing. I stayed at V/P April 2015, Dec 2015 and April 2016. All of those stays were on comps that were for 3 nights, $400 freeplay and $100 food credit. I played almost the exact same on each trip (100% slots) and actually had a few more points this past trip. I was quite surprised that my offers have suddenly decreased to 3 nights, $100 freeplay and $50 food credit. I dont understand the decrease either as my play has been virtually identical for the past 3 trips.

I did contact my host and she has increased the offer to 4 nights which I am taking advantage of.

The Odds in your Favor tournament in January only shows one day of actual play. Usually they stretch that over 2-3 days. It looks like they're trying to squeeze one mini slot tourney in before the playoff football weekends start. My January promotion matches the two months prior, so that hasn't changed for me.

Thanks for catching the fact that the tournament is only one-day, that is likely the explanation.

Looks like we'll be out there at the same time Letter_E, good luck.
