The last time I was at the Hollywood in Columbus Ohio, the trips bet was required at the table minimum and the trips table was 50-40-20-7-5-4-3 (-13.82%). They had a $5 and a$10 table. Needless to say I didn't play.

Interestingly was at MGM national harbor yesterday, outside D.C., pay table was 8/6/5.

Had a nice UTH session, I won 850, my dad sitting next to me won 1100, in about a 2.5 hour session. Full houses were coming off left and right, my dad hit 3 in a row and 4 out of 5 hands at one stretch.

We were only betting 15 or 20 on the ante/bonus, 10 on trips, with an occasional bump to 25 on ante/bonus.

Really had a lot of bonus hands come in overall. There were at least 6 times with trips on the board (but no one ever had quads).

My friend hit the royal for $2500, total payout $2770, at the 4 queens UTH a couple weeks ago when we were playing. Great fun. Good luck.

At all of the downtown casinos that have UTH, if you're going to play the Trips bet, it must be for the table minimum (or more)... but you are never required to play it.

Just to clarify, the Hollywood in Columbus reguired the trips bet at the same amount as the table minimum. If table min was $10 you had to bet $10 each on ante, blind and trips.

Happy to report I hit my first Royal a few weeks ago at a casino in MI (Bay Mills). Was betting $10 as well as $10 on trips and also had a $5 bet for the dealer. The dealer got a nice $250 tip. I had hit a fullhouse the hand before. What was interesting is I wasn't sure if i had it untill the dealer showed my cards. i was delt K7 and automatically bet 4x. Knew I had a straight but couldn't remember which suit the king was. The player next to me told me I had the right one, but I wasn't sure. Heading to Vegas tomorrow, wish me luck.

I can confirm in playing at the $5 flamingo table that you could bet $10, $15, etc. on the ante level bet but only $5 on the trips

Well, I saw an Asian guy betting $200 on the ante who was max betting preflop every time he had an 8 in his hand, so I don't think the trips minimum was a big deal that day.

I couldn't make this up if I hadn't seen it - at a $5 table at Flamingo, no less. Then he'd roll over QJ with no pre flop raise. It was a sight.
