I get a bunch of decent offers in Vegas since I go there quite a bit from freeplay, to food comps etc. I was interested in going to New Orleans. Using the online reservation system the rooms are comped I was just wondering if anyone has had luck trying to get other locations like this to accept or give something similar to comps from Vegas?

Not on a first visit. Once you've played there you will get offers.

In my experience, they are free as long as you are playing.

I've never paid for a drink at Harrah's New Orleans while gambling. I'm going there in 3 weeks if a policy change was made. I'm a 7*, but I don't think the has anything to do with getting free drinks while gambling.

Offers are market specific, as stated above once you play in a new market you will start to receive offers.

I'm also there in 3 weeks, (23 to 27), if you feel like meeting up with an awesome 29 year old for drink, let me know! haha first time going, can't wait. As far as I've read, drinks are free as long as you're playing. I didn't realize they had resort fees in NOLA as well, but my diamond status gets those comped.

Getting rooms at other locations is common. Offers for FP, Food etc are another story. What did you see online when you checked other locations?

And yes, drinks are free - sort of. I think I paid $200 for each beer last time. LOL!

There are national hosts out there that are supposed to get good players into other markets. But I haven't seen them do extras over and above a room unless it was part of a junket they were running.

Depending on the type of player you are Rooms will def. be free. I've booked rooms in buloxi and reno and had never been to either property ever. As for fp, food, and other offerings you play will heavily dictate that. After you play at that property the offers should come flooding in.

Another thing to note is that your play elsewhere wont' affect your vegas offers. So if you take a free room in Buloxi but severely underplay what you regularly do, it won't drive your Vegas offers down. However, don't expect free rooms in Buloxi again. On the flip side, if you go crazy in Buloxi and go severely over your budget, that also won't impact your Vegas offers.

If you get the total rewards magazine there is usually an offer from NO on the back page. I used it when I stayed there for one day after a cruise I was given a suite on the top floor I think $100 free play and $100 food credit. That was my first visit there. The slot machines have an order drink function, it may note your tier status when you request a drink but mine were free as a Diamond. My first Vegas trip with CET I called my host then in Atlantic City, she gave me a # for a host at Caesar's And he hooked me up with front row Shania Tickets (about 5 seats away from Britney Spears who was also watching the show that night) and a nice room in Augustus tower overlooking the Bellagio Fountain. Anyway moral of that story is if you have a Vegas host they may be able to call someone in NO.

Depending on your play, you should be able to go to any Caesars property and get comped (or low fare) rooms. All I do is log in with my TR# on the property's website and I typically see COMP rooms (no offers). I'm a lower-tiered Diamond player so I only get casino rate on holidays and some weekends, but for the most part, the rooms are comped. (I tried this with Harrah's Metropolis just today and received comped rooms even though I've never played there.)

As mentioned earlier, drinks in New Orleans are comped as long as you play. However, they do limit food and beverage in the Diamond Lounge.
