I know the main issue is where you “play until you lose” or one time only.

Is it a set policy that varies by casino? Does anyone have an data points on specific casinos? I’m mainly interested in CET across the country.

    Thanks

It does vary by casino. Last time I played some freeplay at a CET table it was one time only. That was, I think, three years ago. But I doubt it has changed

That's different from my experience. Ever time I played freeplay at CET (Vegas, Reno, Lake Tahoe) have been play until you lose.

My experience has been at CP and Horseshoe Tunica. Not sure if the one-time kind of freeplay was just at those properties or if there was a corporate change since I last used any FP at CET

Freeplay (for Table Games) at the Golden Nugget is play until you lose.
Freeplay at Paris, Harrahs and Rio have all been Play until you lose.
Freeplay I have gotten at Venetian/Palazzo has been One Time Only.

Venetian/Palazzo has two types. Free play and table match play. Only use once.

CET is free play and you get to keep it until you lose it.

MGM does not offer free play at table games.

Casino hosts used to give out free play in the form of chips (different colour than real chips) ie for Christmas or new years. I haven't seen those in forever so I guess those days are long gone

I always use my CET FP on slots, but when I was there last month, it was on a play-up offer, and when I went to redeem at a kiosk, it spit out vouchers (in $25 increments) that ended up only being good for table play. I got bounced around a couple of times trying to find out how to convert them to slot vouchers and gave up and just used them on roulette.

They were play until you lose.

At CET properties, the free play vouchers were " use till you lose"....it's stated in the fine print...

Every 3 months I go to the Beau Rivage-MGM and I get Free Play tickets from a kiosk for $150.00 every time. Usually four for $25 each and one for $50. They are only good for 24 hours after you print them out. You can use them anywhere that has an even money bet. I use them at 3-card poker for my bet and I have used them on the pass line at the crap table. If you win or lose they take your ticket. If you push it stays. Several years ago the printed tickets replaced the special chips they used to give you.

Usually if you're being offered free wagers, you can select it as Free Play (for slots) or Free Bet (for tables). It's always a larger amount in the form of Free Bet for me. Like I can pick either $100 in Free Bet or $50 in Free Play.

And at the MGM National Harbor it's always taken after your first bet, win or lose.

My understanding is CET has both one-time and "play until you lose" free play depending on the type of promotion being offered. If you get free play through a Caesars Rewards offer, mine has always been "play until you lose." If used at table games, they are good on even money bets. If you ask, though, some pits will will tell you they'll pay you 3-2 or 6-5 on a blackjack or 2-1 on the 2 and 12 for a craps field bet. Ask what the rules are before you play because it is to your advantage to be paid this way. I've used my free play to bet on the craps pass or don't pass line backing up the bet with chips as free odds.
