I’ve just caught up with this thread. I want to summarise it, to make sure I’ve got it right.

I have an 8 night stay at Luxor booked through MLife offers. 4 nights comped, 4 nights paid. $50 resort credit. No freeplay.

If I purchase freeplay from MyVegas, I technically cannot redeem it because, even though I am paying for 4 nights I am on a complimentary room offer deal, so I may be declined.
However, if I get the right person on the Mlife desk I could be in luck, and it will be redeemable and I will get the free play.
Alternatively, the myKONAMI game has $25 freeplay on Konami machines. This does not have any conditions attached, so this will be redeemed without issue.

Finally, if I am denied the myvegas freeplay, is it correct that I can ‘sell them back’, get the coins back and purchase something else if I choose. Or did I read previously there are geographical restrictions to the offers you can purchase in Las Vegas?

I've been able to "refund" coins when I didn't use an offer while I was in Vegas.

I had no luck at Luxor using myvegas free play rewards when staying on comp offer with free play. The Konami reward wasn't a problem though.

There are restrictions on what you can buy when in Vegas. If you have enough coins buy whatever you think you may use and refund the ones you don’t. Returns restricted to 5 in a month so look at expiry date and they may refund more if you send a support note. Not sure about MLife rooms. Hopefully someone else can help.

From my understanding, looks like you have to pay for the room in order to use the free play. $25 and $50 free play requires 2 night stay. $100 free play 3 night stay you need to pay for. I think you can combine all 3 of the free plays if you are paying for the room, which is not cheap paying out of pocket due to the resort fee you also have to pay per night. If you get a comp room and you want to use the mykonami free play, have to do 3 other mlife casinos (not the one you are staying at with the comp room). This is my understanding.

They want you to pay for the rooms in order to use the big free plays. If you want a free room, do the mykonami free plays at other mlife casinos.

Thanks for pointing that out. I reread the terms. Not combinable with comped rooms.

I'm always on a comp mlife room and would say the myvegas free play rewards worked about 2/3 of the time. I'd say try it early in the trip and if denied just keep trying to come at different times and hopefully get a more receptive worker.

There is no language in the fine print stating only the primary person on the reservation may redeem the FP. Remains to be seen if this is enforced. Any data points appreciated!

Primary is the one who books the room.

Anyone have any experience with Mirage and how tight they are with the whole "cannot be staying on a comp" rule? Especially post covid? I have a 3 night stay at Mirage at the end of the month and would like to use the 100/50/25 rewards. First two night are comp'd while the 3rd night is at a $25 rate (resort fee will still be charged for all 3 days).. Maybe that discounted rate will be my saving grace?? Or maybe I'm just grasping at straws.

Honestly it just depends on the person you're talking to. Most are trained not to allow freeplay on a comp stay but AFAIK there is no system restriction preventing the freeplay to be loaded onto your account if the stay isn't paid.

We were there end of Aug on a 7 nt comp with freeplay.
I was able to redeem the $100 FP with no problem.
And also did that last Dec so it really depends on who is working the counter.
If you get refused just try again when a different person is on duty.

Argh...it looks like Konami FP now has room requirements too. So here is my question. It says...

If primary on reservation combines more than one (1) FREEPLAY reward a three (3) night room stay will be required at the property where the FREEPLAY is redeemed.

There are $25, $50 and $100 FP rewards, plus the $25 Konami. Does that mean you could redeem all four of those, if you have 4 rewards and a 3 night noncomp/nonmyvegas reservation? Would cost 500,000 LPs for $200 FP, but I don't have much to do with LPs other than rooms anymore.

I checked the red mykonami free play in app just now thats 75000lp I always get (not the white thats 50000lp because the white is what requires room stay) and no stay required. Mentions nothing about hotel stay. I checked the terms and conditions and the learn more button (where it says redeem your loyalty points for $25 in my konami connect free play. This is a Premium reward). Where does it say konami free play has a room requirement because I cannot find where it says that under the red color for my konami that does not require hotel stay?
