I had 3 comped nights and 4 heavily discounted nights this summer and Aria let me redeem $100/50/25 FP.

Looks like it's just a case of pot luck, and any outcome will be dependent on whoever is working at the time.

Just as an update - I was not allowed to use the $25 or $50 freeplay rewards at NYNY last week on a 2 night comp reservation where I still had to pay the resort fee and had no mlife freeplay with the comp (did have a $50 resort credit).

FWIW not having those freeplays available on mlife comps really is another big downgrade in the game for me. This was the first time that happened to me - although had only done it twice before and that was a couple years ago. I don't play much anymore but do try to log in and collect chips everyday to accumulate them just in case there is something I want someday. But it is increasingly hard to find rewards to use. I did use to of the Komani freeplays this trip so guess that is something.

My comped Luxor offer through my mlife account which include $30 freeplay and $50 food and beverage credit. Will I be able to add my girlfriends name to the account when checking in? So that way she can purchase the $50 free play at luxor for 150,000 gold coins, which requires a 2 night stay on the property. I would also like to purchase the same thing but pretty sure I will be denied the $50 free play since my offer already came with $30

Both you and anyone named on the booking may not be able to use the normal freeplay rewards as they are not valid on any comp stay as per the terms and conditions. You can however use the MyKonami $25 freeplay.

In the terms, normal MyVegas freeplay should not be able to be redeemed on a comp room stay, either myvegas of mlife comps.

You can however use the MyKonami $25 free play.

Update from Vdara/Aria ... no myvegas freeplay allowed. I had a 3 night comp at Vdara and paid for 2 nights. Offer had 75 in freeplay attached to it. Desk clerk stated any stay with any comp offer will not allow myvegas freeplay. Even if I had a one night comp and paid rack rate for 4 nights( which would never happen) i wouldn't be allowed to redeem. This was just this week October 4th check out.

    Update from Luxor/Park MGM:

Luxor 2 comp + 3 discounted nights --> no problem redeeming $50 FP
Park MGM 2 comp nights --> for the $50 FP, agent mentioned that it's against the rules, but for this time she'll let it go

Any update on Mirage for FP? I'm debating if I should try to get it. I have one comp night and one paid through mlife.com

I’m heading to Bellagio on a 2 night room comp then spending two additional reduced paid days at Nomad. Will I be able to redeem the $100 free play for Park MGM? Or does the comp at Bellagio disqualify that award?

I can't see the $100 reward, but the $50 reward requires a 3 night stay at the hotel you are using it at. Since you only have 2 nights at Park MGM, this alone would disqualify your stay for the $50. Check the terms of the $100 to see if there is a similiar stay requirement listed.

Staying at the Mirage for a week in May 2020; three nights comps and four paid for. I was planning to redeem $50 and $25 MyVEGAS Freeplay for Mirage - my reading of this is that it may be declined, is that correct?

I might just chance it regardless and plead ignorance. The only other reward that interests me is the $50 drinks credit at NYNY.

it seems to be hit or miss if they will let you use the free play with the comp room. I have used both on a few occasions and have never been turned down, I guess it depends who you get at the desk. Doesn’t hurt to try

I agree with it being hit or miss. I had a MLife comp offer in my name only. Added hubby's name to room. He had FP with MyVegas. Clerk at MLife Desk at night said "Nope" and canceled the reward without my hubby asking him to. Next morning, he went and redeemed the same FP offer and brought Confirmation to MLDesk (totally different Rep) and she authorized it. This was back in October, so they may be enforcing the rules more. I would suggest trying, as all they can do is say "Nope", then try again with a different Rep. May or may not work. Some people seem to get lucky....some don't.

We were at the Mirage Dec 19-26th
I had the $25 MyKonami and also purchased a $100 freeplay to see what would happen as we were on an MLife comp with free play.
I was lucky and got a very nice person at the Mlife desk who redeemed both with no problem

Yeah, I've found it all depends on the person you get at the MLife desk. They CAN load the Freeplay rewards for you even if you're on a comp. The question is always, will they?

Has the $25 freeplay always required 2 nights recently or was it 1 night min before?
