    I just saw that... I remember when he torched San Diego St with like 5 TD passes. Sad story for sure.

    So sad. He should have turned pro after his junior year but decided to stay hoping to take Hawaii to the playoffs (he took Hawaii to the Sugar Bowl but lost badly) and also hoped that his draft stock would rise. Unfortunately he got injured and his draft stock dropped. Teams started seeing his flaws, had he gone after his junior year he would have been a higher round pick but instead was relegated to a lower round draft pick the next year. He never amounted to much in the NFL and had to retire because of a health condition (heart). After that he bounced around and never accomplished much. We were hoping that he would end up doing something like sportscaster or businessman but instead had some problems.
