regular vp kinda bores me. I enjoy the thrill of ultimate x however the bankroll needed is very high. I think a good compromise is stp or dstp. My dream is to be dealt a royal after multiple full house for 12x pay. Anyone ever get a big hit?

Sadly I have not. And I usually only play it on dimes because it does get pricey. Seems like whenever I finally get a good multiplier, the next hand is then junk. Or vice versa, I get a good hand and no multiplier. I think you need a lot of patience and even more funds to play this game.

A few years ago Ellis Island had the Ultimate Poker with decent pay-tables. And on Saturdays they had 10x point multipliers starting at 3pm. I paid someone to hold a machine for me until 3pm.

Very volatile game. At $.25 level, its $25 per hand for the 10 play game. Got lucky and had a dealt royal with two 2x multipliers and three 5x multipliers for a $24,000 payout. Then they threw me out a week later.

9/6 DDB UX? Otherwise a 10X point multiplier doesn't sound like a big edge...
Yes I would like to hear this too. Maybe because they cared he hit that the week before. They shouldn't have though...

They had a deuces game that was around 99.5% with proper play and the 10x points made it around a 100.5% game. But as I said previously it was an extremely volatile game. Losing $2,000 in a session was not uncommon.

Guess they pulled my card because I only played during the 10x points promo. Or who knows?

Did you calculate the deuces strategy on your own? Use the modified payout method on the Wizard of Odds Strategy calculator? The deuces strategy never has been published afaik. ;)

I definitely couldn't stomach 10 line quarter UX even if it was 100%+ after comps.

Sucks they backed you off. I like EI myself.

Did I post deuces here? Lol. I've only known how to crunch the strategies for a few years. I know the Wizard never put it up though.

I know I've posted 7/5 and 8/5 DDB for others here since I know ppl mostly play that. Probably 6/5 Bonus too, which is almost exactly like 7/5.

I love the gimmick games. I prefer STP/DSTP to UX because I usually play at higher denominations than I should based on my bankroll. So even a degen like me has to draw the line somewhere.

Here are my two best multiplier hits:
