    Hello!

we are arriving 7/6 and thinking of spending a few hrs at the outlet mall. With the current situation and shortage of ride share drivers, wondering if that is a bad idea. I don’t want to get stuck without a way back to the strip. Are taxis available and easy to get at the north outlets?

Or a rental car....might sound silly but probably cheaper in the long run.

That is where we are at. For our three day up coming trip, it's $130 for a nice sized rental from Enterprise. With free parking at MB and most places, it seems like it's going to be easier to have a rental rather than trying to mess with Uber. Since it's only three days for us, we don't want to spend 10-15 mins every time we need to get some where.

I live close enough that I can drive a few hours in, especially in summer trips. Having a car with AC can be a blessing.

I thought the outlet mall had a tax stand/line. I'm not sure now during COVID, but there were plenty of cabs during normal times.

And speaking of Uber, I keep seeing TV ads where they require their drivers and passengers to wear masks. While I'm not planning on flying or taking a ride share anytime soon (darn it), I just happened to be looking out the window yesterday morning to see a neighbor getting into an Uber. No masks in sight! Can't say I'm surprised, but it's not encouraging.

My wife ubered from Fremont Street to the North Outlet Mall, took 20 minutes to get a ride. At the mall her phone died, no problem getting a taxi.

We tried taking the Deuce Saturday and it was full according to the sign on the front of the bus.
