I travel with a motorized scooter. Does Uber or Lyft provide vehicles in which you can load a scooter? Thanks for any input.

I wouldn't think they do, unless there is an option that I'm missing. Most of these cars are someone's personal 4-door vehicle that is basically made to transport people from here to there. Same thing with having a lot of luggage, Uber and Lyft may not be the best way to get from one place to another.

I know Uber has a choice for people who need assistance in my area. Assuming that means handicap accessible?

It's called Access on the app and shows a wheelchair logo. I'd contact them and ask

There is also Uber XL which is supposed to be a larger vehicle.

Yes for a scooter you want Uber Access, which I don't think is an option in Vegas (though they are constantly adding new options to various markets). I just checked my phone and there are a total of 8 different uber options here in LA. Smaller markets have fewer choices though, I think Vegas only has a few.

Uber XL could also work, but you will need people with you to help load and unload the scooter.

Depends on the size of the scooter. As one mentioned, the cars are owned by the drivers and not Uber/Lyft and therefore the car my vary. An XL maybe able to fit the scooter, but then the question comes down to who is responsible for taking it apart and loading if that needs done? As an Uber driver, I would not be comfortable doing that. I have transported several disabled persons but never with a scooter. I have taken wheel chairs a few times but those take about every inch if space in my trunk. If you have luggage and a scooter, it maybe advisable to use a handicap accessible taxi, as much as I hate to suggest it, or a shutter.
