Momofuku might have jumped up to #1 on my list. I sat at the chef's counter in front of holy hand grenades of various bitters. Told the bartender I like a Manhattan, but make it funky. 100% delivered. Made a red hook, extra vermouth, which tasted like an herbal cherrier Manhattan. Followed it up with Tim Tam and pork belly buns. The buns are the top 3 foods I've ever had. Its unbelievably pillowy to the touch, and the pork just melts in your mouth.

Also hit up the westgate sportsbook to watch the cowboys beat up on the giants![IMG][IMG][IMG]

Checked out of PHo. Dropped bags at luxor bell desk and walked to the Mandalay convention. And kept walking, and walking, and oh my god how big is this place. I'm not exaggerating when I say I walked a mile to conference checkin.

3 hours to kill til the first presentation.

Damn conference getting in the way of my enjoyment. Work friend got in yesterday who drinks but doesn't gamble. Oh he gambles now. I showed him the secrets of VP and comp drinks. 5 min in I hit 4 deuces. He loses 30, I make 290.

Uber to cosmo. Sit down at the sportsbook bar. He starts to go on a tear. Keep in mind he's playing on my dime. He nudges me to show me he's dealt 6666 in deuces wild. 20 credits with a chance at 75. He smashes DRAW to my horror as I realize he had not held anything. Could have been worse![IMG][IMG]

Went to Cromwell last night and ordered a boulevardier at the VP bar. They went all out, full mixing glass, stirred 30 seconds, poured over a huge ice cube. Liked it so much I forgot my slot ticket at the bar . Isnt the first time and wont be the last!

Which bar you hit this Deuces at? If it's MB, looks like I'm way overdue for a bartop update. :( Deuces USED to be their best game. Not anymore if that's the paytable! (94.82%)

Conference ended yesterday afternoon. Traveled around the strip and wound up at Cosmo. My coworker tried a verbena and hated it. I've told probably a dozen people about that drink and he's the first one to actually hate it.

So we go to the sports bar and I meet this guy from MN. He sees me playing deuces and introdeuces me to deuces double bonus. My life changes.

We started a game among the 3 of us. Any 4OAK or better we all take a sip our drinks. I up the speed on my machine to the max and start churning through 30 hands a minute.I hit 2 premium and 2 nonpremium five of a kinds, aka 5OAK, aka Foooooak, aka John Quintsy Adams, in 5 minutes. I was up about 300, coworker is up a bit, and my new friend is up. We are taking sips of our drinks every minute.

The plan was to go downtown after that, but unfortunately coworker did not have a high alcohol tolerance. He started handing me his drink tickets. Finally got 4 tickets and decided to get a pour of blue label. I didnt really appreciate the flavor, and couldn't differentiate it from lesser scotches. Glad I tried it.[IMG][IMG][IMG]

Did they really not update the giveaway screen? Or is that an older pic? "Memorial Day Hot Seat Giveaway"?

Double Bonus Deuces Wild is technically a better game at Cosmo too (97.68%).

If you're sitting at a Superstar Unit it's also available on Spin Poker for nickels. I hit this last trip.

But since 5 Aces is worth so much, keep in mind that holding a lone Ace with at least one deuce is actually a correct hold.
