Having family in Vegas is the best.
Nice!! If you just love playing video poker for hours, it’s pretty easy to do so on a lower denomination. Love it!
Up $390 on VP and $50 on some slotting. Plus got $20 cash back for the Sunday promotion. Nice way to start the trip. Headed to Palazzo to check in.
Home for the next four nights.
I had thought I might venture downtown to get the SW BP match play. But not a chance. Going to wander a little grab some beverages for the room at Walgreens. And probably crash early tonight. The beauty of being in Vegas so often is I don’t feel as bad when I just relax.
Thanks for the palazzo pictures, I’m staying there at the end of the month for the first time (I knew they were like Venetians but a little different decor but it’s nice to see). Good luck, look forward to following along!
Stopped to do a little slotting and won $800. Woo hoo. Love starting a trip off with a win.
Off to a good start Here’s to good times and lots of blurry pics, one or three with a Royal
What I love about palazzo is that the hotel isn't huge. It's not a trek to go from the front door to the room.
Wandered up to Wynn and Encore. Managed to pull out another $140 win.
Was a little hungry so tried to get into Wazuzu for drunken noodles but they were fully committed for night. Ended up grabbing some snacks at Walgreens along with my adult beverages.
Lost back $70 at Palazzo on my way up to room. Thought about going back down for one more session but I’m too lazy and this room is too comfy. I think a glass of wine, a nice hot soak, and an early bedtime are in my immediate future.
Tomorrow’s plans: slot tournament, more family time in Henderson, probably losing back everything I’ve won today. You know, Vegas stuff.
Got up to use bathroom and caught a bit of the sunrise.
How far is it from the parking garage to the room elevators? I don’t mind walking a ways but sometimes/someplaces it takes awhile.I really only know the blackjack area at the palazzo
Parking garage elevators are right next to room elevators. Lobby is across casino floor from both sets of elevators, but still not nearly as far as in a lot of strip resorts.
Registered for all three days of the tournament. Got the same time each day - that will make things easier. Did just a smidge of slotting - was down $150ish when I got this:
Lost $5 on the session. Headed out for breakfast and then some family time.
Having family in town is great. Having family in town who are foodies is even better. Orange ricotta pancakes for breakfast. Lobster rolls for lunch. Nom nom. Now back at Palazzo for Slot Tournie #1. Each day is a separate tournament with one session. Prize pool of $25,000. Top prize of $7,500.
Lost $100 slotting around at Palazzo. Now it’s tournie time.
Also saw a sign that they are doing craps lessons on weekday mornings.
Ok score. But I’m guessing you need to be in 1.2M range to cash. Lost another $30 slotting around. At octagonal bar in Venetian for a pink drink. Going to head up to room for a refresh and then out and about on the town.
Good report so far. Just add some handpays! Look forward to the rest.
That room kinda reminds me of the one I had at the Fremont a few years back. 'Course that was before renovations started!
