Marilyn's is good for breakfast/lunch, but I wouldn't make a special trip off the strip to eat there. EI is closer with comparable food.

It's one of the sole surviving independent casino coffee shops and it's always been quite good.

    {flip .. SLAP!} Maybe? :)

Marilyn's comfort foods are at least as good as EI's with better atmosphere. You can actually see the food there.

I'd go with Marilyn's. Staying at TI in a few days and plan on making the trek for delicious pancakes.

Unless it's changed they have AYCE pancakes for $3.99 24/7, and the pancakes are really good.

All the restaurants at Tuscany are good choices. Marilyns is the cheapest and has good quality coffee shop food. Pub 365 is a little pricier but has high quality burgers, small bites, and more (and a great Cuban on the executive lunch menu for only $9.95), and the Tuscany Gardens is the priciest but still a very affordable high end restaurant with quality Italian food.

We eat at Marilynn's Cafe every trip to Vegas. I have had their steak and lobster special, which was excellent and only 13.99 and I have had lunch there as well. Lunch consisted of a burger, fries, and a beer. The burger was huge, cooked just the way I ordered it, and was really good.

We also are fans of Ellis Island, but Marilynn's Cafe is equal to if not a tad better than EI in my opinion.
