I got an e mail from them earlier this month offering cheap deals through March and April.

You are being optimistic.... I'm not even feeling good about my September trip working out.

I just looked at Apr 18 for $27 and the 19th (sat) for $16 plus tax and RF directly on the hotel site. Same for following weekend.

Deals are available all over the place. No date on when casinos will be open.

As inviting as that sounds, I don't see anyone staying in LV before June 1.

So you book a date that doesn’t work out. What are the chances they allow you to transfer to a similar day of the week the following month at the same price if THEY cancel YOU ? And rinse repeat until you can actually go.
    Or is that just silly?

    Hopefully, finally !!!

I don't think it's a good deal either. Given these conditions, it's quite pricey before taxes and RF. In the normal days, I had seen Luxor, TI, NYNY, Westin etc. at such prices before taxes and RF.
