    My Trip Report

For some odd reason Turning Stone sent me two free nights in the better rooms.
Perhaps they want to encourage those of us who live around the soon to come Schenectady casino to keep going.
Perhaps I just had not gone in a long, long while.

So, here is the trip report in detail with photographs of Verona State Park as well.

Nice TR Dewey. The Savoy has been there forever. I was stationed at Griffiss from 81-85 and 89-94, your TR brought back a lot of memories of the area!

I don't think you would find too many changes at The Savoy. I've had many a fine meal there over the years.

Nice report. Even living in Upstate NY area I wouldn't mind staying there.

Dewey, I really enjoy your trip reports. From the gathering of free firewood, to the pic of the beach stump to sit on, to your love of Jim Reeves :) Your pictures really took us along for the ride.

That's a great trip you had. And thrifty too.

I totally agree with what you wrote.... I hope you get it someday!!

"The bad beat is up to a ridiculous amount that would give each member of the table 17 grand if it were hit. Quad sevens have to be beat. Players qualify as long as they have not missed any blinds. So we could go to the bathroom and still be in the split. How crazy would it be to tell friends that I won 17 grand on a hand that I was not dealt?"

    Thanks for sharing your report!
