I have heard from several people lately that are having problems receiving emails from the board. We have several emails that go out of here including your registration confirmation, changing your password, birthday greetings, private message notification, etc.

Most of these email addresses reporting problems are from free email places like yahoo, gmail, hotmail, etc.

PLEASE be sure to check your spam filters and spam folders before you contact us as many of the emails seem to be ending up there.

Contact the customer service at your email provider for information on how to add vegasmessageboard.com to your friends list so that email from us will not be filtered away as spam.

Thanks!

My email isn't one of those listed, but I haven't had any notifications for ages.

It is a UK based email, so perhaps this is my problem. I also have an hotmail account. Would that be better for you?

I send almost nothing from the board as far as updates and newsletters go. If you don't have things on your UserCP set up to recieve notifications by email for PMs or Subscribed threads, etc. you probably won't get an email from the board.

If you think you should have recieved something via email from the board or a board member and you didn't, please let me know and I can test mail something to you from the board to see if you receive it.

Thanks!

FYI - I've changed the email address that sends out notifications from the board. Hopefully that fixes things, but I'm still digging.

Thanks for being patient!

Originate a Message

Change of subject; How do I originate a message on the board??
Thanks For Your Help

By originate, you mean start your own thread?

Just go to the appropriate section (ie, restaurants for food questions, strip hotels for stuff about a strip hotel, etc) and click the New Thread Button, insert a title that describes what's inside and put your message content in the bigger box and post.

Please send me a PM if you have any problems.
