I heard Hilton bought out the Tropicana and redid some of the rooms. I was curious if the casino has been re-done at all recently? I remember going there in 2009, and it was old and rundown. Is this a place worth gambling and checking out now that there's new ownership?

    thanks.

Its just a partnership agreement. I have not noticed any changes since the agreement took place.

The casino is all remodeled and new. I like the feel of it. It's not huge, but has a much better feel than it did a few years ago. It's starting to get some energy back, thankfully.

My husband just stayed there the week before last. He is a Hilton member and tries to stay with them because he travels constantly for work. He figured he'd try out the Trop and get the Hilton points. I can't remember where his room was, but he said it was nice – clean and comfortable – check-in was easy too.
