Tropicana

Can anyone comment on the Tropicana? I was offered a club suite. Is the hotel clean? What about customer service, food?

Just googling what a 'club suite' looks like, it seems pretty nice.

We wandered through in Sept. They seemed to have refurbished it since our last trip. Looks bright and clean. The pool is always a great place.

I stayed there in September, the room I had was nice and clean, I tried to check in when I got there around 9:00 but the room wasn't ready until 12:00. Any staff I encountered was very friendly and helpful. The food at Biscayne and the beach cafe was good as well. I wasn't impressed with the slot selection so ended up taking half my play elsewhere. I seen Cherry Boom Boom and should have went to the comedy club instead, I doubt it lasts the year.

That being said, I would definitely stay there again. They were updating some of the slot floor and doing something with the old Sports book while I was there.

The Club suite is fine, but ask if you can have a Club Spa suite instead. The Club tower is a long walk, but worth it, in my opinion. The Paradise suites in the Paradise tower are awful, as far as I'm concerned.

They need more restaurants, but the ones they have are good. Bacio is my favorite.

I've not had any issues with customer service, really.

The casino is fairly small. Drink service is good.

Laugh Factory is always a fun time. Too bad Raiding the Rock Vault is no longer there.

Interesting. I'll be keeping an ye on this thread. I got an offer from the Trop last week for 3 nights and some Fsp. I haven't been there in years but I frequent their partner the M Resort. May try them during March Madness!
