Tropicana Comp Offer

I'm a huge Cosmo guy and always get good offers from them ($400-$500FP/$100-$200FB). I just got an offer in the mail from Tropicana for 3 nights and $1,500 Delta Airline gift card with $8k coin-in ($750 at $4k). Would you book to earn GC or stick with Cosmo with guaranteed FP/FB?

The Cosmo never needs to know that you're in town. Why not take the Trop offer & just don't use your card @ Cosmo during that trip?

If the restrictions on the card aren't bad and you know you can get the full value out of it, that's basically $8k of freeplay.

It's hard to see losing more than $1,500 - $1,600 on machines on $8k coin in if you play reasonably low-vol games. Same with the lower amount gift card, you shouldn't lose more than $750 - $800 on $4k coin in. So the gift card covers your loss, making the coin in free. If I flew Delta, I'd be all over that, or looking for the catch.

fine print on flyer says:

- Valid 5/14-7/31/17
- Participants must swipe card at kiosk during promotion before redeeming
- Participants may choose Free Play in Lieu of Delta Gift Cards
- May redeem any day during promotion from Player Services between 12p-2p
- Video Poker/Roulette are excluded
- Delta GC can be used for any Delta Marketed flight and has no expiration date or fees
- Will receive voucher and participant must provide address to have GC mailed to
- GC be mailed within 14 days after redemption
- One redemption per trip and can't be used in conjunction with any other offer

$8k is a little tougher..but still, if you play $1-$5 slots, you're "expected loss" is $800...if you're getting back $1500 in Freeplay then it's almost like a free roll..I'd definitely do it! (Hell, I may try! haha)
