Well the trip is sadly over. We are sitting on the plane. Yesterday we spent the morning gambling at El Cortez followed by a few cocktails at Oak and ivy. From there we walked to the arts district (not sketchy at all but did take about 30 minutes, and it was hot). We hit up a few bars and looked in some of the stores. A little bit further of a walk and we went into Silver Stamp, a 70s themed bar which was packed with people. Which felt a little odd since the place is off the main road and wasn't at all identified from the outside. Gambling for the trip was atrocious for me! Overall, I'm out 2 grand, including food, drinks, tips etc. Not too bad I guess, but it would have been nice to hit a nice hand.

Observations - no where enforced masks except Circa. Having said that, the majority of people were wearing them, and wearing correctly inside.

The D hotel was short staffed and getting the room made was almost impossible. I asked the women for towels and she just handed them to me. Another day we put the please refresh room sign on door and left 5 bucks on the bed. When we got back the money was gone and nothing was done to the room? Towels still on the ground, no tissues, or soap .

Zombie burlesque was a super fun show, my wife described it as a vaudevillian show. Everyone was entertaining.

Fremont seemed to me to have tons of people (tourist) and way too many Street performers. (I give them credit for actually doing something other then holding a cardboard sign, but every ten feet there's another loud speaker and act going on. Just too much).

I love Vegas and look forward to planning my next trip!

Another observation - at certain times Uber would have a crazy high surge price and it would be cheaper to take a cab. You could check just a few minutes later and the price could be cut in half?

Coming home 10 miles from the Philadelphia airport Uber wanted $81 and the cabbie told me it would run about $40. I took the cab and it was $42.

Slot machine by bathroom is an impulse time killer when waiting on ones spouse to come out.

Did you really expect anything different? These days, that seems to be par for the course!!! Horrible customer service, and lazy people who just want money for doing nothing. Taking a person's gratuity and not providing a service that is part of your job? Zero excuse!!! Thanks for the great report!!!
