Thanks @FABismonte. I enjoy Vegas similarly, except that I do love attending concerts there but a great room, good gambling, good meals, hitting some outdoor spots and other attractions like the Neon Museum, and hitting the pool for a bit make for a great trip. I love the spa experience but I figure that won't be available in terms of enjoying the steam or sauna but I will still be happy with a good massage.

I moved my planned August birthday trip to late September/October and yep, my brother @Champster1 will be there during the second half of my trip! Fingers crossed that we'll be a go!!

Thanks for the TR, FAB. I was on the $400 freeplay offer and tried to get an answer from the Rewards desk about whether I could get it upfront and then play for the "play up" offers. The desk said I could, but the more I questioned to be sure, the more I realized he didn't know and was just agreeing. It was indeed only one redemption. Wish Caesars' offers were clear about that with a sample case.

The desk actually gave me a welcome letter when I arrived Saturday afternoon. When I asked for one, they said they were out, but they Xeroxed theirs and gave it to me when I asked if I could take a picture. It wasn't a welcome letter, but the distribution times by last name and by casino. Then I received the actual welcome letter by email which gave the same information plus the additional freeplay for going past the stated tier earning.

I had a similar miserable experience in $1/$2 video poker at Caesars and Harrah's playing Bonus 7/5. No quads, nothing, just straight downhill the entire time. Tried to get to 2500 pts for the $1000 freeplay, but only made a little more than halfway before deciding to call it quits at -3k at midnight (earnings cutoff 9am Sunday and I decided I'd rather get some sleep than potentially lose more). An insane loss on those few hands (granted, some slots were included).

Also irritating was that there was a sign at the rewards desk stating that they couldn't provide total tier points earned. I wanted an exact count of Harrah's and Caesars to see where I stood, but maybe their system was down and couldn't calculate and they had enough questions about it that they displayed a sign. Don't know why they wouldn't be able to get this information.

When collecting the $400 freeplay Sunday at 2pm, they were out of $100 vouchers completely and said they were almost out of $20s. Converted the $400 into $360, then blew that and more.

My plan next week is to do the mattress offer 10k tier for $3k freeplay, since it's such a good return, but if I experience the same thing with the Apple offer, I may throw in the towel early and just enjoy more free daily drinks at Vanderpump.

Nice report! Bummer about the loss but without the royal popping up tough to be "net ahead".

@maxev You'd think CET would be able to get straightforward information across on their own promotions. Its not THAT hard.

Thank you for the excellent trip report. It seems that CET in Vegas is quite unstable right now.

True enough, unfortunately this is nothing unusual.

Wow! I did not know you could get essentially both offers! The MacBook Pro and if you played up the free play ): I played about 8k TC. If I remember correctly, it was about 5k to reach the MacBook Pro. T_T

@lesleyy are you saying you played enough for an additional (unadvertised) bonus, but no one told you?

This Apple offer is different, and better, than subsequent CET promos where I have only one prize.
