Have been following along but only just got the chance to post.

Amazing story and a great insight into the ME, something we don’t get the chance to follow along with very often.

You’ve inspired me, after about a 6 year hiatus (only played one ‘proper’ tournament in that time - which was 3 weeks ago!) to give poker another go.

Like you I’m now financially secure - wasn’t when I was last playing - and can play for the challenge alone. ME next year will be too soon so maybe see you there in 2021!!

Well done on the great run (and the slot win - will look out for those!) and thanks for sharing the journey with us.

As a fellow Brit, I can confidently tell you almost every Indian restaurants that caters to Americans is TERRIBLE compared to the UK.

I tried those four slot machines yesterday at Rio and while I didn't get any thousand dollar spins, I started with $100 and was up to $800 when they started going cold. Thanks for that info!

Excellent! I think it's cos a lot of people don't play them long enough but just in passing. So the money they take just sits there waiting to be won by someone who spends some time on them.

    Good result! :)

Hi all.... am slowly (more slowly than a snail) sorting out the video content to be uploaded to youtube.. I'm a bit of a technical muppet so it's taking a lot longer than I thought.

In the meantime I now have a poker twitter account: @AndrewPokerLife

Next live tournaments for me are the World Poker Tour in sunny (that's sarcasm) Nottingham, England at the end of September and the Master Classics of Poker in Amsterdam in November, Party Poker Live Millions in January in the UK. And trying to see if I can get back out to Vegas for the WSOP-C at the Rio in February.
