Trip Report Part 2

Well, I'll try to make my last day and a half in Vegas short and sweet, although it was neither of those things. We left MC about 5 pm to go see Chipendales at the RIo. I wanted to get there early to check out the hotel and get something to eat. We had the worst cab driver ont he way to the rio. I am pretty sure he took us on along haul. After I mentioned something to him he got very snappy. After driving extremely dangerously, we finally pulled up to the Rio. My friend was getting her stuff together and the cab driver said "GET OUT!" I was in such sshock that he had said that! It wasn't in regards of not tipping because I am extremely generous, being a server and all, I always tip well, even if it's not well deserved. As soon as we steppped out of the cab I realized I left my cell phone at the hotel. I needed to go back and get it. I didn't want to be with out it in case of an emergency or I got separated from my friend. We went all the way back to MC to get it and by this time we needed to pick up our tickets. I wasn't super excited about seeing Chipendales. It was my friends idea. I thought it might be a little cheesy, but the show was actually really entertaining. The most conservative women were going nuts over these guys. It was actually really funny to see 70 year old women screaming and dancing over these guys. Me and my friend got asked to get a drink with one of the dancers. He pulled us out of the crowd... very rockstarish. So, after the show we went. I started feeling weird and like the third wheel so I decided to gamble at the rio until they were done talking. My mission at the rio was to make enough money to pay for mmmy cab rides here and back. I completed my mission and met my friend back at MC. I was super drunk and tired by this time, ready to call it a night at 12:30. But my friend met these random guys who were heading to rain at the palms. To this day, I still do not remember their names! We were with a group of seven so we got a limo to the palms. It was a fun drunk ride. I liked the palms a lot. It seems to be a very trendy place. I was too lazy to stand in the three hour line for rain so we headed to the Ghost Bar line which went by real fast. I hadn't spent any money on drinks ar cover yet so was happy. We got in side and I was in awe of the view. I really liked this place. At this point the boys we came with were getting a little annoying so we kept trying to ditch them but all attempts failed. Some drunk guy in ghost bar thought I was Mariah Carey. I acted the part, just for fun. I didn't say much ust smiled and waved. He even took a picture with me! I wish I could ahve seen his face when he see's that picture sober and realizes that I am not Mariah Carey. We left Ghost Bar at 2:30, with the annoying boys following us. My friend is trashed at this point so we wanted to go back to the hotel to sleep. We then got a call from our frinds from l.A. to meet up witht them at Risque at PAris. Although we are tired, we go and drink more and dance then decide to hit the Black Jack tables at Excalibur. This place was a little cheesy for my taste and smelled a lttile weird. We try to get in their room and realize we don't have the key. We spent about a half hour in the hallway waiting for security. This sounds like it wouldn't be fun. But we had so much fun being drunka nd loud in the hallway. Security finally came we got some money and found a table to play at. I cashed out even and my fiend lost 300$. He had a $125 bet going, doubled, and lost everything! He didn't mind because he was still up $700 dollars from the trip. By this time it was getting light outside so we decided to go back to our hotel and sleep. People were staring at us leaving the excalibur. I'm pretty sure they thought we were hookers. Oh well.
We woke up the next day hungry and tired and decided to go the Aladin buffet again. We love this place. Then we walked arround the strip, exausted, and decided to lay by the pool to relax. By this time I had to drink to stay awake. Coffee didn't help, but alcohol sure did! We napped for a little bit and my friend said she didn't want to go out tonight, but I wanted to. I had all of the next day to sleep. We ARE IN VEGAS!!! LIVE IT UP!! I called some guys we had met the other night and they were going to a strip club. I went. It was alright. I am not a big fan of strip clubs, but it was fun. Then, I went to MC and fell alseep because we had an early flight the next mornig. We left LAS at 10:45. A smooth flight. I was kind of happy to leave because I was so tired! I should have paced my self a little more through out the trip. But thats way to hard to do when your in sin city. Next time I will be sure to pace myself a little more and try not too do too much too quickly. I am already planning my next trip in June after I finish finals. Sorry if My trip report was a little boring. But I had way too much fun not to tell everyone that is willing to listen about my first trip to Vegas. I am offically in love with this city and considering I only live about 4 hours away. I think I will be visiting a lot more!Thanks for everyones advice and listening to me!

Great trip report. Don't worry about putting in too many details, lots of us like the nittty gritty stuff.

Excellent report. Now THAT'S how to do Vegas. I'm all about dancing and partying all night long. You guys sound like you not only had fun, but ARE fun.

I loved your reports and if I lived 4hours away I would be in bad trouble I would be there every weekend

 

We did have a blast! I left out some of the really juicy details because this is a "family board". Just the other night my best friend turns to me and says "Drinking and partying is just not as much fun unless your in Vegas". I completely agreed. Although I live close by, I just can't take the time off of school and work to go as much as I want to. I have spring break in 2 weeks, so you never know. I might be spontenious and go for a night or two! But until then, I have to read trip reports and start planning my June Trip!
