    My Trip Report

Sorry it's been taking me so long to post this. Work has been a beetch.

OK, this might be long & maybe not to exciting but I had fun.

Today was mom's 70th birthday & since we are on central time we got
up at 5 AM Vegas time & couldn't go back to sleep. We decided to
go down to the restrauant for breakfast & we actually make it there for the graveyard shift (midnight to 6AM).. Breakfast was 2 eggs, sausage, potatoes & toast for 2.25, yes that is right 2.25. It was very good & I was suprised to see the place was kinda busy for that early hour.
After breakfast we gambled & I cashed out from the night before so I had some money. After a day of gambling on Sunday I cashed in my tickets & they totaled 187.00 bucks.. Not too shabby since I only but in 5 bucks in the JP machine while mom puts in 20's in the dueces wild machines .. We gambled & really just keep winning enough to keep playing. Later in the morning we went Ceasers Place to walk around & see the statues the spin around, WOW CP is awesome all the expensive shops & so much to see, we didn't gamble but was just being tourist. We cabed over to Greek Isle since we needed to get tickets for the Rat Pack show for Tuesday. GI is kinda of sad, yes it smelled of smoke & me being a smoker was a little sick to smell that. We got tickets using the POV which saved us 60.00 bucks with the buy one get one free. We did not gamble there, just didn't get a good vibe from the place.. After that we headed to the strip, we ate a a buffet not sure the name of it but again used the POV book & saved. After our lunch we went to Paris to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Use the POV coupon. (that POV is awesome savings) I didn't tell mom actually what is going on. I didn't want her to back out of going up top. She was a little scared but she got over it once she felt it was safe up there. The city was beautiful, the sky was blue & it was over 100 I took pictures from my disposal camera. Still need to get those developed. (making a scrape book for mom) After the Eifel tower mom & I walked over to the Belausi (sp) fountains & watched the show over there. Let me tell you all something, after reading this board one thing everyone makes it a point to see is the fountains & MY GOD it was FANTASTIC!!!!! I will always have that as a great memory & mom really loved it. It was two songs that the fountain danced to. After that we took the shuttle back from the old Barbary Coast back to the Gold Coast, we gamble a little nothing too spectular about winning. We were just having fun. I know we ate somewhere for dinner but for the life of me I can not remember. (too much drinking for me) Well that evening was our helicopter ride of the strip at night, this was part of mom's birthday present. Well the whole Vegas trip was, but I wanted something special for her. The company picked us up at our hotel & took us to the heliport near the airport, we had some champaigne & waited for our turn. The worse part about this is they weigh everyone & figure out who sits where & when you can ride. mom is 100 pounds if that wet, but me will lets just say.. that I do not have a model body but I am of the national average
and look hot to my hunnies & my eyes.. The helicopter ride was great, it was so awesome to see the strip lit up at night & to be honest that was the only time I was able to see it really. I had them do a DVD for us & just received it. Watch it & burned one for mom. It was a great time. Would love to do it again but it was only 12 minutes in the air, It needs to be longer.
We got back to the GC & gambled again nothing really happening just holding our own with the machines.
I got to hand it to mom, she was a tropper, first going up in the Eifel tower & now the helicopter ride. not too shabby for a 70 year old lady.

I will try & get the next day of this trip report to you guys sooner.

I hope it's not too boring. Next visit to Vegas me & my hunny will be going & that one should be very fun & interesting.
