Well, Where do I start. First we were waiting in the Buffalo Airport, at 5:30am,(6am departure) when they announced that they have over booked out flight so I decided to Volunteer. Delta gave us two Vouchers to go any ware Delta go for this and gave us another flight to leave at 6:30, and arrive in Las Vegas at 11:30 instead of 10:30. (What a deal). Then when we were ready to board I look at my new tickets and realize that were in row 1, A&B. (FIRST CLASS) it was great. Then I told my wife that this is a good start to a trip to Vegas.
We get there and take a taxi to NY NY, (very nice place) get out of the taxi, Taxi driver helps me with my bags, and leaves, never took my money, I guess he forgot. He never started the meter, so I didn't ask...

Get to the hotel asked for an upgrade and what it would cost me. He said that he could get me a suite for $25.00 extra a night. so I said go ahead. (I should tell you that I booked the hotel online at Playvegas.com) for only $49.00 A NIGHT.
Went up to the room what a view and the room was Unbelievable.

When to ESPN Zone for lunch, had ribs which were very good, wife has a salad, and Soup, a few beers and wine. And then the bills come and they only charge me for the drinks and so I left a $20.00 tip and left.

Then we decided to go for a walk go over to Monte Carlo, played Roulette, my first bet was $25.00 on 33 and $25.00 on the line and Black. And guess what it hits, I walk away right there with $1050.00. What a great start to my gaming pleasure. So then we to Bellago.
I wanted to play blackjack, and my wife was right behind me playing Slots, ($1.00) machine. Well it's been about an hour. I'm up like $100.00 and then a casino host come over and asked if I was Scott, and she said please come with me, Right away I think my wife what happened, I go over and there is a crowd of people around Renee has just won the progressive payout 17,000. (with 3.00 in) This has only been the first day it's only 5:00, we just flew in and were up over $20,000. We had to go over the paper work, and go back to our hotel, and relax and go into the Hot Tub. And were thinking that this is the life. How we could not believe that this had happened.

Then we went done to Gallagher's Steakhouse what GREAT Steak, It was the BEST NY STRIP that I've ever had.
We the next two days we just did site seeing. Never even pulled a slot or when to a table the rest of our trip. ( It was very hard to do, (but very smart)

And lastly When I check out the girl asked me how my stay was and I said that it was great, other than they forgot to have my wake up call this morning that's why I was late checking out (about 45 Minutes) So she said that she was very sorry and that she would refund my room, to my credit card. and she did.

All I have to say is that Vegas over all is a great City, I was here about 10 years ago, and it was nothing like what I remembered. It is just so beautiful. Even if I didn't win all that money I would have had a great time.
And now with my winning, I have bought my Wife a new car (Nissan Altima 3.5 SE)

How you didn't think I was bragging, I just wanted to tell everyone about my experience to you great City.

I hate you. And congratulations :D What an amazing trip! So is her picture up on the wall holding a big check now?

Now, you can answer a question that plagued another forum last month--did you have to produce your social security card for winning that much money? If not, what id did you use?

Renee had to give them here SS# and a photo copy of here drivers licence, (gave here a federal tax form can't remember what one it was 1125 I think)
but had to do nothing for cashing in the chips.

As far as the picture, we declined the picture. Renee didn't want here picture up there.

Wow is right!
What a great time! At first I thought you were just one of those folks who always sees the glass as half full......until Renee's luck at the slots.
Nice to hear a story like that, and I bet you are one of those who sees the glass half full and would have had a great time win or lose!

Awesome!

Congratulations!! I have just shared your success story with my friends. I hope that my trip, in a few weeks, is just as successful - :D

I am a true optimist!

Good for you!! I like to hear these stories..

lorio :D

Thats great. Wish our luck was the same. We left our luck here in Texas. Its good to actually hear about the winners.

That's great Scott!! What $1 slot was your wife playing?

I sure hope I have that luck when I go to Vegas April 23rd. It is my first time ever going so maybe I'll have that luck so they'll keep having me come back, LOL.

Again, congratulations!

Your trip report was great. I do have a question because I plan to play roulette when we go to Vegas in a couple of weeks. I understand the $25.00 on #33 but what was the bet other than that? Did you play $25. on the black but I didn't understand on the line. Sorry, but this will be my first time playing roulette like I know what I am doing, LOL. Thanks in advance for your opinion.
Jane PS Again your report was great and so happy for you both.

Congratulations! I hope you left some of that good luck dust in the Buffalo airport ! Am going to LV in late Aug.
