Just a summary of our recent trip – My husband and I are low limit slot and video poker players. We primarily are in LV to soak up the atmosphere, people watch, eat and drink. Stayed at the Linq since we like the central strip location and price. The Promenade was very festive and it had a cute holiday program each night. We were impressed with all the decorations all over. It felt very Christmas-y. We were glad to see the Lego Men display at The Park. That’s only til the end of December. Also went down to the ice skating rink to watch for awhile.
We often eat in the Miracle Mile shops for breakfast. A lot of breakfast specials – Oyster Bay, Ocean One. And then play some VP in PH. I like the music they play in the mornings, 70’s stuff. I had a few good hands playing Triple play. Primarily nickel machines tho! If I played 25 or $1, my money would go too quickly and I wouldn’t be sitting there as long. Oh well. It was a fun hit! We were playing STP another day at Aria when a guy nearby got a $10,000 payout – he had a 5x multiplier with his 4 Aces.
We went to hear the Bronx Wanderers at Bally’s one night. Very good show. I heard about them on this forum. Also made a run up to the Lucky Dragon casino. Nice, pretty, clean, but I doubt we’d go back. Pretty small. A couple new places that we ate at were Gordon Ramsey’s Fish and Chips, and the newly opened Virgils BBQ, both at the Linq Promenade. Both good.
I had to stare at my screen for awhile. It's was so pretty!!
This picture was from Wynn. I really liked their display this year.
And the top of Cosmo has this changing light display, kind of fun.
We had some nice temperatures 50's and 60's while we were there, and no wind which is always a bonus. Plus we missed a snow storm at home!
