Slept in a bit this morning in anticipation of a long night before our flight home. Ubered down to Paris around lunch time to get checked in for our room, which we absolutely love. It’s a renovated Eiffel View room and the view is amazing. Then Mr. GR got his $225 free play that went along with the stay. He played about $100 in Dragon Link, which was a big dud, and the rest in Buffalo Grand where he got his biggest win of the trip. He threw $100 in a couple more machines with no bonuses and then we headed down to The LINQ to play some table games. There’s a new cross-cross card game there we really like. Didn’t hit any great hands to speak of and cashed out a few hundred down combined. We then went over to Harrah’s for dinner at Flavors Buffet. I used to be a big fan purely because they bring hot split crab legs out for Diamond members (as seen from my previous pics, I’m a big crab legs fan) but they have changed their policy from all you can eat to one plate per every two people. Never again! The rest of their food is equivalent to your local Golden Corral.
After dinner, we stuck around Harrah’s for a little roulette (Mr. GR won a couple hundred while I lost $100) and some slots where Mr. GR hit another big Buffalo Grand bonus. When that bonus finished up, we realized we only had about 15 minutes to get to Bally’s for Xavier Mortimer’s Magical Dream. We made a mad dash and made it just in time. Unfortunately, since it was General Admission we ended up with some poor seats on the very far end of the room. I have to tell you, we were not impressed with the show. We watched for about 40 minutes and decided to leave. If you’ve never seen it, it’s a magic show that was a bit on the cheesy side and with the angled view we had, we could see how a lot of the tricks were done with slits in the curtains behind him and wires and things of that nature. I felt this show was more suitable for kids, just not something we were too interested in. We did play a couple slots in Bally’s upon exiting but mostly lost with one decent Walking Dead hit.

After finishing up at Bally’s we headed over to Cosmo where Mr. GR had $70 bounce back free play. He played it in Diamond Queen with no hits. I went over to Ruby Slippers, since I’d done well on it the other night, and hit another good bonus. Mr. GR and I then played the new Munchkin game together where we had a good Witch Feature and a bonus. After some Wonka and WD, we closed out our play at Cosmo with a good little run on roulette by Mr. GR. Stopped in Bellagio to see the observatory and play a few things and then back to Paris to enjoy our room a little and see our view at night. Going to finish the evening out back at Wynn before our 5am flight!

Your dragon link pics remind me of this lady just killing it at Bally’s on Sunday night. I’m hoping I spotted a wild VMB’er in the wild.

Unfortunately our only good wins on Dragon Link were at Paris. I wish it had been me at Bally’s! Dragon Link is usually one of my favorite go-to games but I didn’t have a lot of luck on it this trip.

Well, unfortunately no big finish to the end of the trip. Mr. GR lost the rest of his budget at the Wynn on Roulette and I lost the rest of mine on slots without one single bonus! Our flight home went smoothly and we just arrived home from the airport. Reflecting back over this trip, there are some things we’d do differently but overall we had a really fun trip! We got to play a whole lot, which is always great. Mr. GR loved staying at the Wynn and seeing all the NBA players. I enjoyed the summer weather but wish we’d made time for a pool day.

Of the 3 hotels we stayed at, all of which were new to us, we’d really love to stay at the Wynn and Paris again. Even though the room at Caesar’s Palace was nice, the atmosphere there isn’t really for us and we just can’t seem to win anything there!

We definitely need to try some different restaurants next trip. In the past, we’ve really enjoyed the buffets but none of them were spectacular this time.

There’s a slight chance Mr. GR will head back out for a guys trip in a couple of months but more than likely we won’t be back in Vegas until early next year. Thank you to all of you who’ve followed along on this trip report! I hope to continue these for future Vegas trips :)

Great report and really cool pictures. Glad you enjoyed your Paris room. I am heading there in 9 days. Nice hotel, great location and you can bounce around a few casinos very quickly, like Bally's, PH and Cromwell.

They offered unlimited hot split crab legs to me at both dinners I had at Le Village buffet Wednesday and Thursday last week, as well as comped the all you can drink beer wine, and champagne package. If you're after crab legs specifically, maybe try there. Weird they wouldn't do that at Harrah's. They did have the split crab, cold, on the buffet for everyone, so maybe that's the difference?

Not saying not to a free fountain view suite to kick off Thanksgiving!
Presidential Suite for the holiday woohoo!

We will have to try that! Harrah’s only had the little dungeoness crab legs out on the buffet so the snow crab was only for Diamond.

Great report. I love the hotel part of Caesars..especially the spa and the Augustus rooms, but I get killed there gambling as well. I stay there and usually have better luck at Bally's and, Linq and Harrahs.

I'm happy at Flamingo, happier at Ballys and ecstatic at Paris. When I walk in the door I can take a deep breath and feel like I'm coming home. My April view was very similar to yours. Only a few doors off the suites so I think I had a bit more of an angle. I can't quite get the mLife people that say how awful the rooms are at CET props, how we are slumming it etc. (I have actually been outright called trash because I stay at CET lol - look what they are missing!!!!).

(And I don't mean to sound like I'm attacking mLife - it just happens to be in MV groups so those are mLife focused).

Some people are idiots, don't pay any attention. CET has some pretty nice rooms and suites as well, with beautiful views. Nothing wrong with Caesars Palace, Paris, PH or Bally's. Heck, even Flamingo has some nice rooms and an awesome and fun pool area. If it wasn't for MyVegas, and their free nights and free buffets, just for playing a game online, some people would never stay at Aria, Bellagio or the other nice Mlife properties. And I see that Wynn is doing it as well now, with some sort of game, where people get free nights there as well.
