    My Trip Report

Hello VMBers! I’m new to the board and going to attempt my first ever trip report! Mr. GR and myself (Mrs. GR) are currently sitting at the airport waiting for our delayed (booo!) flight to Las Vegas. I figured I could use this extra time to kick off this trip report to tell you a little bit about us. Mr. GR has always been a gambling fan (at least since he was of age lol) but he has just gotten me hooked in the past couple of years. We took our first trip to Vegas in November 2017 and this will be trip number 7 so you could say we’ve caught the Vegas bug! This trip is just the two of us, our daughter and 2 dogs stayed behind with the grandparents. We’ll be staying at Caesar’s Palace for two nights, followed by a couple of nights at the Wynn, and then Paris, to maximize our free play offers. I was lucky enough to hit my first and only handpay in January on Walking Dead 2. Mr. GR is still on the hunt for his first handpay so fingers crossed this will be the trip! We play a mix of slots and roulette, with some card games thrown in for fun if we’re winning (which we’re usually not haha!). No specific plans for this trip other than hopefully catching the Caesar’s fireworks tonight and lots of gambling, drinking, and crab leg buffets! Now hurry up flight! We’re ready!

    My first and only handpay:

We made it! Only about 3-1/2 hours later than expected but just in time to catch some fireworks from our room! Now trying to gather the energy to do something...

Went down to the casino and played for a bit. Not a whole lot but got a few small bonuses. I would’ve liked to get in on some roulette but the tables were so busy tonight! Mr. GR played a little poker but nothing exciting to report. I’m sure we’ll get a full day of gambling in tomorrow. And hopefully something good to eat!

This was 2 cent denomination so a $66 bonus

Harrah’s buffet for breakfast. I know a lot of people aren’t big on the buffets but it was actually really good. You can’t beat ice cream for breakfast!

A few decent hits this morning at Harrah’s. We’re both even so far. :D

Having a fun day so far! Played a little slots and cards at The LINQ and then headed over to Flamingo where Mr. GR hit a nice buffalo bonus and I lost $100 on roulette. Back to Harrah’s where Mr. GR made a quick couple hundred. Now back at Caesar’s to use some free play. Bacchanal Buffet crab legs a little later! Currently Mr. GR is even and I’m down around $285.

Even is great! Ice cream for breakfast is even greater! Just milk (which is a breakfast staple) and a little (okay a lot) of sugar - which is on most cereal and donuts so I'd say it's a typical breakfast food. I don't like to drink milk but love milkshakes, ice cream and cheese. Go figure.

Room looks very comfortable. Best of luck on the rest of the trip!

Vegas Virgin (again) Trip - never stayed at either hotel.

Totally agree! Most breakfast foods are just dessert anyway!

Great first full day so far! Dinner at Bacchanal. Crab legs weren’t as good as they’ve been in the past but not awful, we still enjoyed it. Since then, we’ve had some good luck on slots in Paris and Bally’s. Went from about $300 down to only $45 down and Mr. GR is up about $100 so overall winning. Getting to play a lot and not losing our asses is a huge win in my book! Here are a few pics from dinner. I’ll add some slot wins as well.
