    My Trip Report

We weren't sure if we were going or not this year UNTIL we got comped offers from the Palazzo for 3 nites and the Palms for 2 nites. My friend got one and I got the other. How in the world we got these who knows- we are slot/video players- we played some at those places last yr (Venetian & Palms) but WOW- we could not pass this up. We are going April 8-12th. Will let you know how they were. We have definately come up in the world---last time we stayed at Casino Royale-- (which by the way I really like to gamble there) Hopefully the Palazzo will have their s h ---tt together better by then. Have a car rented dollar - 128.total Thanks to this site used code TARR. This is fantastic. Am anxious to read positive reports about the Palazzo & Palms now.

If you get the online version of the Las Vegas advisor with the POV ($37 I think) I highly recommend using the 50% off up to $50 coupon at the Palms for a spa treatment:thumbsup: Amazingly beautiful spa, multiple hot tubs--one with the cascading "rain" on your shoulders, a swiss shower in the locker room area (instead of just in a treatment room like other spas) Ah, the memories are good......

The one thing I don't like about the Palms spa is the waiting area is downstairs from the main spa area and you have to take the elevator. Last time I was there, I was in my bathrobe going down to the first level and some boxer who was fighting there that night came in. No clue who he was but he had an entourage with him and the spa attendant wished him good luck. He was very gracious - he had to know that I and the other lady going for her treatment were very uncomfortable in our robes with unknown men (particularly very LARGE unknown men). Then you wait in a very small co-ed room for your therapist. They need to come up with a better way to work that.

Hubby & I stayed at The Palms for 2 nights in December. We had a room in the newer Fantasy tower. It was very comfortable.

I used the stairs (I used the gym too) but you're right--the multi-level thing in the spa is a little awkward. Golden Nugget is nice because you can either wait in the co-ed area or the single sex area....They tried to call my husband for his massage in the ladies waiting area.....

The Palms is a very very cool hotel. I would stay there when we go this year but we used my boyfriends moms timeshare and got to stay at the Polo Towers for free. 2 bedroom suite....should be plenty of room to party. After this time going to Vegas we'll probably stay at the Palms
