    My Trip Report

I came in yesterday from a trip to Vegas with my 2 daughters. We stayed at Tresaure Island first for 3 days and then went to Caesars.
CHECKIN-Was a breeze. On riptide offer you can check in at VIP so there was no wait. Daughters munched on cookies and chocolate strawberries waiting.

ROOM-Arrived on riptide offer. Room was already when we got here at 12:00. Room was not a petite suite but a tower suite. It pretty much looks like room online. It was a surprise as originally my host told me I would get a petite suite on the riptide offer. 948 sq feet. Interesting is that the hallways are the old TI and the rooms are different. When you walk out of your room you think it is a different hotel.
The Petite Suite comes with tons of amenities. Latgr flat screen and plenty of storage. the mans restauroom has a robe and the amenities are: shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, hand cream, body gel and a bar of soap. It also had a nice size shower. Lady's restroom had the same amenities, except a really big tub that can fit 2. The closets were big in both rooms and the lady's room also has a lighted mirror with a sit down vanity. The sofa is not like the one in the pics though. It is larger and has a lounger side so you can put your feet up. Our view was soso. We have the view of the WIN and really can not see the battle from the room. there is a small frig in the room though, but it doesnt work really well.

POOL-Did this and found chairs in the shade!! Pool had no shade though. There also was no live music as they had on the website. MUst have been his day off. They claimed he worked Sat and Sun. though. I noticed that food service was good. You put the flag up and the waitress was there within 10 minutes.

DINING-Ate brunch at the buffet and it was better than the Monte Carlo. That is what I can compare too. The desserts had fresh cotton candy being spun. That was very different. Had line passes so that was good otherwise we would have to wait.
Dinner at OLives at the Bellagio-Very good. They have a drink called the cable car which I reccomend to anyone who likes sweet drinks. The rim is sugared with fine sugar and cinnamon and it is rum based served in a martini glass. This was very smooth. Had the caesar salad and the acorn squash toralltini (please forgive my spelling) That was really good and matched the drink.

GAMBLING- I had 325 play money on the card given to me from the offer and also I had an additional 250.00. I play usually pretty hard the first day on slots. spent about 6 hours in the casino and have put on about 2000 points today playing general slots. I do not play VP or tables so my comps are based off that.
Played TOP GUN which is really cool if you have ot played that and like slots, I recommend it. Very different from the normal slots. I watched someone play 2 credits on a progressive and hit it and wonder why they got nothing...Gee willpeople ever learn to look at the payouts? Casino was fairly busy but not overly crowded. I play a full range or quarter, dollar nickel and penny. I play more dollar and quarter though. WOn money and then turned around and lost it in this machine that plays a 100 nickels a shot. What was I thinking? Could have played dollars! I was very dumb there. Anyweay have not tapped into my own money yet so that is good. ONly winning and Player points.

Any questions I would be happy to answer.

    TI part 2

Monday- we choose the buffet for breakfast. It was good. You can not do much with breakfast. Though, they had these yogurt cups with fresh fruit and berries and granola. Very good and something different. Treasure Island has been great. Room is always cleaned while we are out. Shot over to Mirage to do the secret garden and the dolphins. I think this is pricy for what you get but I wanted my girls to see it. The Mirage is really nice inside and can not say much about gaming as I did none.
Had dinner at Isla and it was okay. Nothing to get excited about and service was not too good. Played slots at night till late and won and lost. I am doing just okay with winning and losing.

Tuesday-We picked up rolls and Starbucks as I had to get to a convention. Spent the day in the convention and took daughters to dinner at Francescas. We then went to Madame Tousads at the Venetian to see the wax museum. That was pretty good and the Horror room was pretty gruesome. No wax there just real people scaring you.

Saw the sirens show outfront in VIP section for hotel guests. It was okay but I miss the old one. Finished off the free play and at this time was using my own funds. But the slots did not seem tight and I had a great time. Room service was quick with our rooms. We came in the evening and room was freshened up and candies on the pillows .
Wednesday we had to say goodbye to Treasure Island and check in to Caesars. The girls were looking forward to going to Caesars. So much is talked about it as being such a high class hotel. Next trip report will deal with Harrah’s and Caesars

Overall the service of checkout was great. I did that through VIP as that is how I checked in. They handled everythong great. I would reccommend them for families or adults as they have something for everyone.

Nice score on the upgrade to the tower suite. From the TI site the room looked really nice.

Sounds like you had a great time at TI. We're staying there in Oct for the 1st time, we used to stay at the Mirage every trip but don't care too much for the casino remodel. Our host put us in a panoramic view room but I'm hoping to sport some cash and see if I can get an upgrade to a petite suite. At our age (53 & 45) I think the "no music" at the pool would be a plus...lol Unless of course it's Dino which I'm sure it's not..:)
